I think this is being over-looked. Quite frequently this board is known for threads being derailed. Gopher is stepping it up a notch and trying to derail the whole damn forum. I like it.

Come to think of it she uses the washing machine before the dryer so maybe it's the washing machine thats shrinking my clothes. Or maybe it's both of them. I hate both machines. Leave my clothes alone! I don't want to have to buy new clothes all the time. I hate buying new clothes. You have to go into those stupid fitting rooms where you feel like someone is going to peak under the door and see you in your underwear. Who came up with that dumb idea anyway? It sure wasn't me. I'd never think of something dumb like that. I think of smart things. Like automatically-fitted clothes so you never have to use those stupid fitting rooms. And clothes that never get dirty so you don't have to use those stupid machines. And blowup dolls so you don't have to get married. And telecommuting so you don't have to get dressed to go to work. Then you just have to buy one set of clothes and that set would last you forever. Unless you are a slave to fashion. I hate fashion. Fashion is dumb. They have all those anorexic teenage girls prancing around on stage wearing stupid-looking clothes. Who wants to be a slave to that? Not me. I want to buy one set of clothes and be done with. Move on to other things. Life is too short for clothes shopping and clothes washing and clothes drying.

I'm gonna go against the grain and say dryer, I can scrub down my clothes quick enough, but it takes all day to dry some clothes. Plus in Minnesota, 8-9 months out of the year you gotta hang your clothes inside. And if they don't dry quickly enough, they start smelling like a basement. And then you gotta iron them too because nothing ever hangs dry with a proper shape, its always kinda strangely crispy and wavy shaped. And if you hang dry socks, they're gonna be falling around your ankles within 10 steps, that dryer shrinkage is vital for socks regaining their elasticity. Really the only problem w/ hand washing is bodily fluids on your pants, and I ain't gonna lie, that happens with pretty much all my pants 4-5 times weekly and its a bitch to get forensic evidence off of a pair of black slacks, and then you need the washer and maybe some pre-treatment too, but in general a hand washing so get anything clean lickety split.
