Well...yes. Just like in the real draft, each team is allowed certain time limit to make their pick, no? Why should I be penalized for checking the thread sooner compared to others who waited till the last minute? Besides, the main thread hasn't been updated (still shows Bills on the clock)...

More than likely no deal will be done given the lack of pm capability here at the boards, but thought I'd at least consider that option...since I really feel that, should the draft fall as such so far, that the team I'm picking for will look to trade down if at all possible.

^ Well technically the Jags are on the clock, just look at page 5. Bills made their pick. It just hasn't been updated on page 1 .

I don't think anyone is going to do a trade so I think it makes more sense to just make a pick.

And if everybody takes the whole time to "trade" we are not going to finish this damn thing.

Plus, we're only mocking out the 1st round right? So logical trades like a high 1st for a low 1st and a 2nd or 3rd dont make any sense if we aren't picking beyond round 1.

Update page one, Friend of Haley, Please. Bills made their pick, Jags on the clock. This is taking a long time, we should be at least half way thru rd 1 if not finished.

Sorry, I haven't been by the computer. As a general rule of thumb though for those posters waiting, don't just go by the title, investigate to see if you may be up, and I'll do my best to keep up.

As far as trades go, I'm alright with not allowing them. I realize its not realistic, but if you're stuck at a spot and don't like any players, just go BPA. That will at least keep it "realistic" in the sense that the correct players will be on the board.

Let's just go as many rounds as we can until the draft. I was thinking minimum of two, three if this thing moves along.
