Clippers VS Mavericks

Post#1 » by thanumba2clippersfan » Mon Apr 12, 2010 2:31 am

I thought I would start this thread because I have a winning record this season. I will try and put some graphics up by tomorrow. Feel free to discuss your thoughts about the game.

Curious to see if Baron will play this or not. Hopefully he will tough it out since the seasons almost over, but who knows.

If we win 1 more game, we will finish the season with a winning record at home.

Baron is out.
Gooden is doubtful.
Rhino & Trout are probable.
EJ is questionable.

Hopefully, EG will play - assuming Baron is out. A backcourt of Blake & B Brown would not likely be very effective.

That is not looking good for tonight's game. The Mavs are still playing for a spot I think so I don't think they will rest their players. Just a little look ahead to the Lakers I heard that Kobe is playing the rest of the season so we shouldn't expect the Lakers players to rest either.

Is it wrong to feel that losing these last 2 games would benefit us more? I care more about our draft position than 2 meaningless wins that won't do anything except hurt our draft position and odds. Our last win against the Warriors really screwed us over.

I'd rather have 9th pick and a win against Lakers then the 7th pick.

We will probably lose today with all those injuries, but if we win against the Lakers, we would have a (2-2) record against them this season.

I'm just looking for a win either tonight or Wednesday. If we win more all that means that we are less likely to win the draft. Since they are odds we can still move up a few spots potentially.

Clippers fan, you should all want a higher draft pick so just forfeit and let Dallas win :) Best thing would happen for both teams.

With all those guys injured, it looks like you'll get your win. :P

What higher draft pick?! The Clips are pretty much stuck where they are. The Knicks are a complete mess and won't win any other games this year. Jazz were smart to deal with such an idiotic franchise and steal their pick. The 76ers have done the best tank job of all the loser teams the last couple of months. Including another loss tonight against the Heat. Best case scenario is tying Philly and beating out New York/Utah for more lottery balls but neither will win their next games either. In case of a tie, won't it come down to a dumb coin flip? We would probably just lose that anyway. So yeah let's just screw Dallas over and steal one then bring on the Kobes for win #30.

We should be putting someone smaller on Dirk instead of DJ. Dirk can't post up a guy to save his life and he feasts on shooting jumpers over slower bigs.
