Is this set in stone? Should be a good series to watch. Charlotte is always fun to watch. Low scoring series, I'm guessing. 85-95 points per game.

Magic have been beasting, Charlotte's been coasting. They're well coached and a good defensive team, but so is Orlando. Their biggest strength, Wallace, is neutralized quite a bit by Pietrus and Howard. They'll step up and steal a game, but that's it imo. 4-1 Orlando.

I think Charlotte's defense is good for 2 wins against the Magic I honestly think they are that good defensively even though they can struggle mightily on offense

At most this series will go 5 games. I don't think people appreciate how good Orlando has been the last two months.

I'm not a believer in the Bobcats.

But maybe that's just because I'm a Nets fan.

Magic in 6. If the Cats could play on the road I'd have more faith in them.

My response to this is this:

Charlotte was great mid-year, Orlando's been great when it's really mattered. Out of the top four teams, I also think this is the worst matchup for Charlotte. One of the things Charlotte's been great at is shutting down perimeter players from getting inside, which is why Cleveland's really struggled against them this year. Orlando spreads the floor too well for them to handle. And as good as they are inside against the perimeter, they don't really have an answer to Dwight. I'm really tempted to say this will just be a sweep, given how the two are playing and the matchups.

We didn't have an answer for Dwight, but Tyson Chandler is one of the best in the NBA against Dwight statistically, so I guess thats about as good as an answer you can have for Dwight than a clone of Dwight himself. I mean really, besides Perkins, what other bigs in the East are you taking defensively against Dwight. Charlotte has 4 now-healthy centers to throw 24 fouls at.

Don't forget the Larry Brown factor as well...he is pretty good a gameplanning.

The key for the Bobcats IS perimeter defense. It's been lousy lately despite having the top defense. They cannot let randoms like Pietrus and Barnes and Nelson hit 3's.

In the past Hedo has destroyed the Bobcats... I'd take this Magic team over last year's, thats for sure.

ORL in 5, this is the worst possible matchup for Charlotte, who would've given Cleveland a series and had a damn good shot at beating Boston and Atlanta, too bad they jacked around against Miami a couple weeks ago:/

I think Orlando in 4 or 5, but I'd go with 5 to be safe. The defenses are close to even, but the Charlotte offense is pathetic. I think they'll lose a lot of faith after a few 20 pt blowouts down in Disney.
