PORTLAND, Ore. -- Portland Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy has a torn meniscus in his right knee and his status for the playoffs is uncertain.

The three-time All-Star is sitting out Monday night's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder and will miss Wednesday's regular season finale against Golden State on Wednesday night.

He will require surgery and will be out from four to six weeks. But he said he may try to play with the injury in the playoffs because doctors told him it cannot get worse.

Sorry Blazer fans if this is a merry thread. I hope we stay 3rd and not get overtaken by Utah, and Portland stays 6th.

If Roy tries to play, well he wouldn't be 100%...

No chance of this happening now. Good luck in the playoffs fellas. Hoping the Suns beat Utah tomorrow, which would give home court advantage I believe. If ya make it to the 2nd Round, give the Lakers everything they can handle (and just a little bit more).

Good game guys.. Just checking since both these teams have a chance to meet in the playoffs. Who would you guys rather play in the 1st round? Phoenix or Utah? Home-court against Utah.

Obviously Utah... Phoenix is just a terrible matchup and the only advantage we have is Melo unfortunately.
