Once you get 45 posts, you are able to use it.

Searching the database is taxing on the servers. Just use google to search for your posts. Its not as convenient, but it works pretty well.

i tried but my username is used in a bunch of posts that aren't mine even with the extra - at the end.

Searching was disabled for users because it was causing the forum to crash. When we figure out how to prevent the forum from crashing during a search it will be reactivated,

I've tried using google site-search but it doesn't link me to specific pages in threads with my posts but rather just forum pages where there is a thread I may have posted in.

Am I using it right or is that it?
