Speaking of active posters, I'd like to see what Nasty Daddy would do on OTA.

That guy is insane. He posts each news article on a different post seconds apart.

He also has play-by-play commentary in the game threads. He basically talks to himself on that board. He's like a post-padding robot.

His nasty news threads are incredible. Just hundreds and hundreds of posts from him in each, and he's upto nasty news #69

I know we've been joking about it but I'm starting to think we should genuinely take over one of those boards that doesn't get used. We could probably post more on that Carolina Hurricanes board in one hour than everyone else has in its existence.

Same as above poster. Lionel Messi was brought back from the graveyard. I wonder only one man has the power to do that. I guess he is also the same man who can make ot australia possible.

Maybe you guys should contact Howard Mass and provide solid explanation on why you deserve the forum.

I like the enthusiasm but I'm afraid that we will not be creating an Off-Topic Australia forum.

Like magnumt mentioned earlier in the thread, the OT Canada forum only exists because it was grandfathered in from the old forum set up. We have no plans to add more private or custom boards and we are actually trying to reduce the number of custom forums.

What we can do is sticky the OT: Australia thread on the off topic board so that you guys don't have to search for it if it drops off the first page. I know it's not the same but it's the best we can offer.

I am disappoint. Would you guys kill us if we took over one of the NHL forums or whatever that hasn't been posted in for 6 months?

Well, I guess we gave it a shot. Sort of sucks that it turned out this way, but at least we should have the OTA thread stickied. Thanks to everyone who supported the idea and posted here and in the OTA thread on the Off Topic board. Keep posting there and we will make it an epic thread.

How about just making Off Topic: Canada into Off Topic International or some ish.... it doesn't get enough traffic as it is currently set up.
