Boozer Injured, Muscle Strain

Post#1 » by HE Pennypacker » Wed Apr 14, 2010 3:39 am

Someone on the Jazz board says the Jazz play-by-play guy said that Boozer is DONE for the rest of the season with a cracked rib.

Edit: Updated title for time being. We don't know yet what exactly has happened.

Here's the source: http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/36489887/ ... ayer_news/

Out with strained rib muscle. Not likely to be season-ending.

Edit 2: Updated title & post with new info. ~ MM

Seriously. Not only do I want the Cavs to sit everyone tomorrow...I want them wrapped in bubblewrap and put into a rubber room until the playoffs start.

Wow.

I hope this doesn't make Larry Brown reconsider playing his guys against the Bulls tomorrow, since it's the Raptors' only shot at the playoffs.
Especially since Gerald Wallace has a legitimate injury history.

Can we get some goddamn legit sources and confirmation before we get these extreme titles up?

No, he'll probably be available next game, hell maybe could of played him tonight, we just don't think it's worth risking an injury by playing him tonight.

God said the Jazz can't far into the playoffs and get a top 10 pick in the same year so he hurt Boozer on purpose which would then effect how he plays in the playoffs and the Jazz won't go far because of that.

The OP is an idiot, no one ever said he was done, or if it was actually a rib injury for sure, he went out in 2nd, and just got his ribs examined during half time.

Owned.

X-Rays are negative, it's just a muscle strain.
