Well, I guess it looks like any thoughts about drafting a CB are gone for now.

But now I would like to shift over to DE and TE.

We need to re-sign Douglas and move Keller.

We are in the awesome position to go BPA with ALL our picks this year. We don't have any holes on paper and got a starter at every position. All we can do is upgrade with our picks or find talented young depth.

Areas where we could use an improvement:
WR, DL, OLB, CB (we let Strickland and Lito go and only added Cromartie so we need another corner)
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies...

I'm fully aboard the Jared Odrick bandwagon. I really like his game and think he can come in and start right away. I don't think that linebacker is that pressing as some thing. I really believe that Westerman can be a good player for us.

The kid's stock is everywhere. I've read 2nd to 4th round. I think SI even had him projected as a FA.

I know that, man, but I wouldn't want Stephen Hawking or Kim Ung-yong out there going for picks. Yes, I know that was a bad example. I want the guy too, but where the hell do we pick him? Is using a 2nd on him reaching? Would he still be there when we pick in the 4th?

Gholston never could play DE in a 3-4 so we had to try him out at LB, which didn't turn out to be much.

Now if either Brandon Graham or Sergio Kindle somehow end up in green and white... wow...

After addressing our needs on offense for the most part it sure looks like we'll go defense with the first two picks. Now imagine adding a talent like Cromartie plus two relatively high picks to the league's number one D. Ok, we lost Rhodes and Lito but both were benched last year. Nasty stuff...

I say 4th round should be good enough for him, we might have to move up to the top of the 4th to get him though.

If we get Kindle, I will cry whilst fapping at the same time.

I see don't think Atlanta passes on Graham. Kindle though...if he (or even Graham) somehow ends up at 29, F everything I've been saying about trading down. Signing Jason Taylor might change this also. Man, I hope we don't sign that guy.

If we trade Leon Washington during the draft and somehow score a late third (let's not forget, he's coming off an injury), your wish could be fulfilled.

Wishful thinking time!

Tannenbaum: I'll trade you a first and Leon Washington for your first...
Mangini: Sure!
Holmgren: SHUT UP!

Damn...even in my wishful thinking, nothing goes as planned.

Appears doubtful that either Kindle or Graham will be around by the time the Jets pick in the 1st round. They may have to trade up to get either guy. Dolphins and Patriots are just a couple of the teams that likely will be focused on these 2 guys.

Not a big fan of Kindle like most here. he's light in the ass, and doesn't use his hands particularly well to shred blockers (VG, anyone?!) 8-)

Ok fellas, its like Christmas eve here... Night before the draft.

I know everyone is thinking D-Line or OLB, but I have a feeling Rex is gonna go CB. We learned that we need to have good nickels and dimes to compete with Indy along with a pass rush. JT was brought in as a temp fix for the rush. We all know Rex loves CBs. I think McCourty, Jackson or Robinson is the pick here. I'm hoping the hometown guy gets it and turns into Revis-lite.

NFL.COM's Pat Irwin has the Jets taking Carlos Dunlap. Big athletic and physical DE from Florida with...you guessed it...some off field concerns. :D

But as Irwi mentioned with Jason Taylor in the fold, their biggest need right now is a DE and "It's hard to find 6-foot-6, 277-pound men who run 4.66".
