Tonights Games was/gsw + Draft lottery.

Post#1 » by hbhakta » Thu Apr 15, 2010 2:20 am

So i guess we really need the wizzards and warriors to win.

does the extra won game for gsw hurt tyrekes ROY chances??

and im sure if we tie between these two other teams, we'd be screwed in the tie breakers.

Wiz win! Now time for GSW to pull it out, hopefully Portland rests most of its starters since their place in the playoffs is locked up at the 7 seed.

Hopefully no tie breaker. And no, I don't think this game will hurt tyrekes chances at all. Curry is great, but anyone with a vote (except maybe some of the fans vote) knows that GSW offense is intensely inflated because of the pace. Even so, Tyreke has out performed him for the majority of the season, was even right with curry during his "good" months. Its a wrap for our boy!

Many ballots have already been filled out and sent in. One more win for Golden State won't help Curry or hurt Tyreke..

Yay! We tanked our way up the draft board! Now we're most likely out of Aldrich range however. :(

3/4, if not all, of the ballets have already been sent in. They are due tomorrow morning and Grant said that most people have already sent them in.

this worked out two years in a row. (needed two teams to win last year to slide the rockets pick down to 23)

so i guess we have the third BEST chance of getting the first pick?

and for curry...42 9 8. DAMN.....

i hope most of the ballots were put in...or it doesnt change any minds.

OMG this is hilarious. I'm following the game (Warriors/Blazers).

George fouls Webster receiving his 6th foul. But the thing is, there is no one to substitute with the exception of the injured Chris Hunter (which he only played the first 4 minutes) . Nellie does not want Hunter to come in the game due to his injury. The refs keeps balking at Nellie to stop delaying the game due to his stubbornness of not letting Hunter in and suggesting George to re-inserted back to the the game despite the 6th foul. Eventually the refs and Nellie 'agreed', Nellie inserted the injured Hunter. But after several possesions, he inserted Turiaf instead of Hunter (And Turiaf wasn't suited up. (Nellie says to Turiaf 'foul anyone') And Turiaf did. And Nellie balked at Turiaf and said that he did not say that (At this point, Nellie lost it). Even the Blazers announcers heard that Nellie instructed Turiaf to foul. And Nellie benched Turiaf for Morrow (another player that didn't dressed up...even though they have warm ups). And right after a dead ball situation, Nellie benches Morrow in favor of George! *Part of the agreement with Nellie and the ref was you have to play the players that had wasn't initially playing the game but had warm ups on i.e. Morrow and Turiaf..to get back George to the court despite having his 6th foul* And Nellie inserted George back to the court! And everytime George fouls, it will be a technical! (Fortunately for him, he does not foul).

It was a funny thing to watch, a completely empty bench. It made me wonder, what would have happened had one of the 5 remaining W's gotten injured??? Would they have to play 4 on 5?
