Well, I think our only chance in this one is to jump on Zambrano early and pray that the Cubs decide to forfeit the game. Sorry I don't have more time for the thread today, this one will be like an extended spring training start for me. Oh, and of course:

The only positive for the Brewers in this game is that Zambrano has the potential to completely blow up, probably a little less likely than Suppan but we could be looking at a game where both starting pitchers give up 6-10 runs.

That being said:

An L so big it'll cause everyone to come to a consensus on health care reform.

Why the hell is Edmonds in center and not Gerut?

With Suppan pitching it doesn't really matter how the defense is aligned.

Poor Ryan. His first game thread of the year and he has to make it on Suppan's first start.

Watch to laugh.

Good point. Suppan is actually kind of funny in the same way Gadz is funny.

What are the odds that we have the same batting order 1-8 in back to back games this year?

Hey, even if we get swept, at least we play the Nationals and Pirates next.

They'll sweep us too.

Zambrano = 11.88 ERA
Suppan = 0.00 ERA

This matchup favors us. :)

Sleeping offense + dead pitching = a fun game!
