Haha, they make the most out of their 2nd round picks and NDBL guys but have struggled with first rounders at times.
Really we should laugh at PHX for trading us this pick for nothing and not NY.

It doesn't go by their season series? If it does, NY beat LAC twice so...

If we call anything but heads I have no hope in this franchise. Of course Jerry SlOWn and Kevin O'idiot are gonna call tails idiots.

I'm hoping for 8 or higher. Top 3 would be a dream.
Dated 10/2/2009.
Guess I can't be too unhappy so far. We have a 57.3% chance at getting the 8th pick or higher!
Honestly that step between 8th and 9th could be big if Greg Monroe doesn't declare.
I agree with you, unless we luck out and someone reaches for Whiteside.

Tails never fails my good sir.
I'm not happy with where the pick is but I'm not greatly upset either. Like most of you are saying, it could have been much better and it could have been much worse.

I can't tell for sure but I think the flips went bad. LAC beat NYK (UT), and Utah (Min) beat Atlanta, meaning the second round pick lowered by 1.

Yeah, Ross Siler just reported they lost the coin toss. Terrible luck for the Jazz over the last month.

Utah's always never lucky when it comes to select position in the lottery draft. Moving back one spot, we lose a chance of gettin' a good player. But I'm hoping Ed Davis, Greg Monroe or even Patrick Patterson will be available when # 9 comes around. I'm not too sold on Aldrich.. I'd avoid drafting him imho.

It is the difference between 23/22 out of a 1000. I know we want to have the best chance possible but that is pretty insignificant.

In moving up sure, but if neither team moves up, the Clippers will draft 8th ,and the Jazz 9th, which is the most likely scenario. If you'd won the flip, you'd be drafting 8th and the Clipps 9th.

yeah one position can make a difference---last draft everyone and their mothers in NY wanted Stephen Curry and he got picked one spot ahead of our spot. Still 9th pick in this draft should net you something worthwhile.

Big deal, out chances of getting the #1 pick go from .023 to .022, yeah that's it. It's almost the same chance, we're probably getting 8/9th, we could get a little lucky too, then again we could drop a little, but after the first few picks, sliding and down is far less common.
