Lebron is a once in a lifetime player. I don't think Joe is worth that kind of effort.

I don't think it would have any impact on the situation. If ASG offers the most money he stays. If someone else offers more he goes. A billboard isn't going to change that. It is out of the fans' hands.

^ So you think Joes decision is completely about money? God, I hope not cuz someone is gonna offer him money ASG wont.
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

Re: OT: Cavs Fans make billboard!
I have no clue on his final motivation, just that a billboard isn't going to sway him. If the Hawks offered him 5 yrs/75M would he take that over the 5yr/83M that New York or another team can offer? Maybe, those extra dollars aren't worth going through rebuilding in my mind. Will the Hawks even go that high (5th year)? I don't know. If the Hawks stay at 4yrs/60M and another team offers 5yrs/83M then there is a billboard that makes up for last $23M.
What I honestly believe is that this is the post-season for him to prove he's worth the money. And by that I don't mean take every shot, but rather step up when the opportunity presents itself and decide quickly when doubled. If he can lead the team deeper than before and not get swept in the final series then I think he can prove to be worth the max or near max for the full 5 year period. Will his contract be bad in year 5, probably, but that kind of post-season gives hope that the team can reach greatness on its current path which should sell more tickets and merchandise and off-set the investment. If he has a hit and miss post-season, gets hurt again, kills ball movement or doesn't handle double-teaming well, or if the team fizzles in the end again, then I can't think the investment is worth it. Sure the window could be kept open with the expenditure but the odds of winning it all or selling more tickets isn't very good. For ownership, it would be like paying more to stay right where we are as a good second tier team.
That's just my take on the situation.
