Phil Jackson scared and wants to get into refs heads

Post#1 » by The5thSunday » Thu Apr 15, 2010 6:17 pm

I heard what Lakers Coach Phil Jackson said about Durant getting preferential treatment from referees. PHIL JACKSON IS SCARED OF THIS MATCH UP and wants to get into the refs heads. All I can say is the Thunder can easily beat LA and I wish you and the team all the best.

Yes Phil Jackson is only person to ever accuse a star of getting the benefit of the doubt from the refs lol

Fans would never stoop to such depths.

With that being said good luck in the playoffs, should be a great series whichever team wins :D

Phil isnt scared. I promise you that.
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

Jackson isn't scared. This is just what he does. He plays head games. He likes to get inside people's heads. He does the same thing with his own players (He's the only coach I know who will openly call one of his players a p****y to the media). It's just Phil being Phil.

Its funny that he says this, while being the coach of Kobe Bryant.... Mr. "AAAAAAAAAY" everytime he steps foot in the key to draw a foul.

Here's the video, it's just posturing, the fact that Durant even acknowledged it, Phil maybe won that battle, pretty mild stuff to me, but it's something...The real news is Phil getting fined in the first place, total B.S... It was for his comments prior to this link, but they were more mild than this video...

Well it's no lie that Durant doesn't play his best ball against the Lakers although this time I think Phil Jackson's mouth might backfire because Durant is fired. I like Durant standing strong and showing he's not intimidated by Phil Jackson.

Jackson is really amusing. Look at Kobe's FT stats from 2006 to 2008. He was taking 700-800 FTs per year those years. In 2006, Kobe's FTA/Minutes was 0.25 and Durant's DTA/Minutes this year was 0.26. Where was Jackon's indignation with the regs when Kobe was getting all those fouls? Jackson is just trying to manipulate the game and the league should fine him for that.
