You have to admit though, Amare's playing amazing right now. That knee is a ticking timebomb however...

People read Amare all wrong..He plays strictly for the money. He would of loved to come here if the warriors had offered him the max. Once Amare realized that nobody in the league was prepared to give it to him, he lost 20 pounds and worked his ass off this season. I feel bad for the team that ends up giving him that max deal.

Guaranteed contracts suck.

I agree, glad we stayed away from that one altogether.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if Phoenix won the title and Amare became a max guy at around 21-22 mil per. Imagine him in the second year of that deal when his knee starts playing up!

Khoee, are you still taking applications?

For my personal statement, I tattooed Stephen Curry's face on my chest.

LOL at you guys putting Curry in the top 3 already. What was it 3 years ago...Biedrins is top 3 center in the league? 2 years ago it was AR as baby jesus...the next coming of Magic. Now it's Curry is top 3. If nothing else, we certainly know how to over value our players.

Top players in the league are not defined by the fluff stats built in garbage time. They are defined by how they perform with the game on the line and the other team is focused on stopping that one player from beating them. The Lebron's, Kobes and Wades of the league shine under those circumstances. Deron Williams, Steve Nash, Chauncey Billups, Tony Parker...they have all proven their mettle. Curry has a LOT to prove before you can even count him in the top 5 of point guards, let alone all players in the league.

Let's just be happy we seem to have our PG of the future. To have any progress the W's need to start locking down positions with players who bring answers, not questions. Curry does that at the point. What's next?

Carmelo has had a winning season every year of his career. He came to a 17-win team. Carmelo gets so much more flack than he deserves as a player. He even kinda plays defense now. I would love to have Carmelo on my team. Never mind that he's a wannabe thug douche. As far as I am concerned they're pretty much all douches.

That was a HUGE bitch move, but Melo has matured quite a bit imo.

Yeah that slap by Mello was pretty cheap, and at the time I thought it was way out of character as he actually is quite "Mello" (pun totally intended). Everybody has whack job moments though.

Warriors would regret trading Curry until eternity, but especially if they hook him up with Sloan the regret will grow into epic proportions. Curry is basicly a bigger version of Stockton with a better shot.

Admittedly some years ago.

I still think he's a great player though.

Curry had the worst supporting cast in NBA history last year...and he still managed to put up 18/6/5 and won 6-7 more games than we would have w/o him...wait til you see what he does with players who can actually play...

I did.

He threw some weak-ass punch at me, then backed away super fast.

Guarans I drop Melo hard in a fight.
