So we have 16 and 23, plus ours?

That's pretty good. That is EXACTLY my current dream draft scenario.

2 - Turner
16 - Henry
23 - George

That's amazing. This offseason is going to be a hell of a lot of fun.

The value is great, but we'd actually be flooded at wing with Wayne, Gomes, and Brewer already here. We could cut/trade Gomes and Turner plays a few minutes at the 1 spot to make room.

I suppose having extra talent isn't a horrible problem to have, and may not occur anyway, since George may not last to 23, and we may likely include at least one of those picks in a trade.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

It's all about best player available. Work the rest out later. If we have to dump/trade Gomes, trade Brewer, trade Wayne, then so be it. None project to be quality starters anytime in the future.

This makes up for refs blowing the call in the OKC-UTA game that raised their win total by 1.

We'd have been at #23 with no ties if UTA had lost that game.

I'm not disagreeing here, especially since I love all 3 of those players and have advocated drafting them (although I didn't expect to have a chance to get all 3 without trades); I'm just hoping that Kahn can actually balance the roster this offseason.

If we can get Turner, Henry, and George that would be pretty sweet, but that would also mean that we mean, more than likely that both Love and Jefferson are still on the roster.

Regardless, our wings were far from competitive so adding three quality wings, with unique skill sets, is completely welcomed. I really hope brewer puts get up to about 200 so we can put him at SF.

Darko - Jefferson - Hollins
Jefferson - Love
Brewer - Henry - George
Turner - Ellington
Flynn - Sessions

But why not draft something different at some point (Udoh, Whiteside, Sanders over Henry, for example) and then pursue a free agent small forward later? We don't have to completely load up in the draft.

Crap, Krap.....

Here I was going to prove you wrong by going to the draft thread and showing where you bashed the Flynn pick after Rubio....

We did the only thing we could do. We drafted the 2 best players available. We'll development them, and then we'll trade one of them when we've increased their value.

We are likely spending one of the first 2 picks on a big man. Regardless of the Darko/Pek/Love/Jef drama.

Yep, I'm no Mitt Romney that's for sure!

But drinking the Kahn Kool-Aid that Flynn was best player available?
