It's going to be real interesting what they do. Do they:
1. Trade the pick to Cleveland for Derek Anderson?
2. Trade the pick and move down, picking up extra picks?
3. Take Glenn Dorsey, who would make an ideal lynchpin of a 3-4 DL?

It's also going to be interesting to see how many current Cowboys move to MIA via free agency, guys like Crayton, Hamlin, J. Jones, Flozell Adams. Miami could have more money than SF did las year under the cap and Parcells has never been shy about doling out $$ for "his" guys.

1.) I don't see how the #1 overall pick is worth Derek Anderson???

2.) Trading down is the likely and hopefully scenario, but only Dallas could make an attractive offer with 2 1st's and a 2nd.

3.) Dorsey would be option #2 in my mind, behind trading down.

Dallas re-signed Crayton 4 yr 14 mil.

Cam Cameron likes to adress special teams in the first round. Is there a kicker available?

I don't think the Dolphins 2008 Offensive Coordinator will get any say in draft picks...

Maybe Marty will have influence..otherwise Parcells will draft who he see's fit

Dallas re-signing Crayton on the day Parcells attended MIA practice was absolutely not a coincidence.

Regarding Derek Anderson:
Parcells has gone out of his way to compliment Anderson and gush over how much he admires how well he throws the ball and stands tall in the pocket. He even said a few weeks back on his ESPN Radio show that Anderson is the kind of guy you could build an offense around if you give him a good OL, similar to Carson Palmer. I wish I could recall the exact quotes, but Parcells, Mort, and Keyshawn were talking QBs and Parcells was adamant he thought Anderson was better than Rivers or Campbell or Schaub or Eli in terms of what he wants in a QB.

Does that mean a #1 overall pick--which is what the Browns are going to demand, barring MIA trading down and then sending a 5-10 range pick plus a 3rd for him--that's up to the Tuna. I wouldn't do it, but I'm not an egomaniacal blowhard with a messianic complex either.

I'd assume it would have to be something like Miami's #1 for Anderson and Cleveland's 2nd this year or 1st next year?

Cleveland should stick with the known product and ship Quinn/next year's 1st to Miami for #1...that way they'd have turned their 2008 1st round pick (#20) and next year's 1st (probably 20+) for this year's #1...not too shabby.

Meanwhile Miami gets a mulligan on Ted Ginn Jr. and an additional 1st next year.

Parcells has spoken highly of Anderson plenty of times this season during his ESPN days. He's hyped him so much, that you'd have to believe he'll at least TRY and acquire him.
