Ramon Sessions

Alot of people at Lakers board have been talking about Sessions as a potential option for the Lakers at PG in the summer . SInce your team runs the triangle now how has he performed in that system I've seen that he hasn't started much is that because he hasn't played well or that Flynn was more ready than most people thought for the NBA.

Flynn starts because we see him as more of an investment. Sessions has been the better player and while his skillset is not a great match for the triangle (shooting and defense are questionable), he's pretty good at running the offense. We all like him, but he could probably be had for cap space (which you don't have) and a future late pick.

I like him alot. Loved him in Milwaukee and was very happy when we signed him. I really wish he would of gotten a fair chance to start for us this season. He looks like your basic true pg. Gets everyone involved, doesn't make many mistakes, good rebounder for his size, okay defender, could use alot of work on his shot.(Mid-range is below average, and doesn't take any 3s because he sucks at them)

Don't know if LA would have what Kahn would want, but Sessions doesn't fit the Triangle anyway. He's got good court vision and is what you'd consider a pure point guard. Can't shoot and defence isn't all there, although he puts in the effort. Overall a solid player and a good backup but hasn't seemed more then a super charged and maybe smarter Telfair.

He was quicker than Flynn to pick up the triangle, for what it's worth.

Yeah, a bigger, smarter Telfair is what I was thinking too.

He would be great in the spread P/R system like Phx has or the flex/P-R that Utah runs. He is a good P/R guy and transistion guy.

I do not like him in the triangle. He is a decent defender, but the pg needs to be a shooter.

LAL has nothing short of bynum we would want. Literally one of the worse trade partners.
