People read Amare all wrong..He plays strictly for the money. He would of loved to come here if the warriors had offered him the max. Once Amare realized that nobody in the league was prepared to give it to him, he lost 20 pounds and worked his ass off this season. I feel bad for the team that ends up giving him that max deal.

His quote about his pricetag going up after every game was a dead giveaway... Knicks have to be the favorites to land Amare

I do believe that civilisation itself will miss out on extreme comedy with Isiah Thomas not in charge of the Knicks 2010 free agency period.

It would have been LOL of the epic variety.

It's going to be funny watching D'Antoni and Walsh fall flat on their faces too... they will get desperate and throw big time money at guys like Gay and Amar'e in order to try and make NY relevant again. Out of every team, they are the one team with capspace that absolutely has to use it.

I can see Joe Johnson and Amare end up in New York if LBJ doesn't leave Cleveland. I really want Lebron in NY though. It seems destiny for him to spend the next 6-8 years there.

What I said about Amare all along. How many people argued about that. It wasn't Curry. It was the money. Cohell wasn't willing to give him a max deal and that's what shut it down. Curry was negotiable. CoHell paying him max money was not (especially since we now know they were intending to sell). How would that have turned out if Amare with his bloated contract would have suffered another serious injury this season? Too risky for the FO when no one how well he would come back from surgery.

Steve Nash was making fun of 'Melo's moonwalk - if it was hockey his own teammates would have kicked his ass.

LB said Curry's the only player he'd pay to see. Expect Brown and the other top tier coaches to hold of on other job oppurtunities until the situation here plays out.

Wow, the overhype is in full swing. Maybe Curry won't get ROY afterall, maybe he'll get MVP?

Warriors are rebuilding right now. There is no reason to trade Curry because you aren't ready to contend and you can't get young talent back for them because their ball clubs value them more than they would Curry (IE: Durant, Rose, Evans).
