I actually like the Blazers in a series against the Suns since they've had the Suns' number since acquiring Miller. I'm sure this has already been said but the Blazers won against PHX this year with Roy out and Juwan Howard starting at center (no Camby).

Blazers in 7.

Who cares, that is regular season and a single game. We are the simply better team and will give you a good beating.

Probably was in that stretch when we were blowing double digit leads in the 2nd half 10 games in a row to worse teams than the Blazers.

lmao @ these Suns homers who say even with a healthy Roy we wouldn't stand a dreaming chance . I'm gonna laugh so hard if we win this series or even make it competitive.

You all are grossly under rating rudy. He is a big game player and the stage is set, i expect 20+ a game. This team will beat the crap suns, miller from la nash canada enough said. Also fry/camby, who do you think will get all those boards? Really why have surgery today unless the teams feels they can get past the CRAP suns. Sun fan will see.

Really no different than the Blazer fans who think they'll win without Roy.

There's some of us that say that we have a good to reasonable chance at winning, but nobody goes to the length of saying we'd "give your team a good beating."

So actually, it IS different.

im disappointed i wont get to watch roy go to work against the suns. this had 30+ ppg written all over it...suns prolly the only team that doesnt have a above average wing defender (besides maybe utah with wesley). I cant remember a defensive wing player since Matt Barnes, and Roy dropped 52 on Barnes.

No, it's not. At all. The reason why should be obvious...

Yeah because Phoenix is the better team than Portland anyway while Miami isn't better than Boston.

Milwaukee beating Atlanta without Bogut, Salmons and Thomas is more like it.

For some absurd reasons Portland fans think they would be favorites against Phoenix if they had Roy ->

Phoenix is going into the playoffs hotter than anyone else and Amare has been 2nd half MVP of the season.

Portland won 11 of 12 going in to last years playoffs. Sometimes you just play against teams that are better than you. You'll understand how that is in about a week or so
Thank you for all the memories BRoy. You were a class act and brought hope to an entire region for 5 years. You will be missed.

There are fans on both sides guilty of homerism just because 1 fan says it would be an easy win even with Roy doesn't mean everyone does.

Actually, Hill and Dudley are good perimeter defenders, at least both are better than Barnes. Barnes was not even that good of an individual defender last year.

Rudy Fernandez is going to average 20+PPG this series. I will shave my balls if this happens.

Nah. Natural is the way to go, but I will shave if Rudy drops 20+ PPG.

Sorry Portland fans you gave me a good laugh there your kind of like the lamb before the slaughter , It their and doesn't realize that its about to be slaughtered and here is why the Portland trailblazers will loose this game first Aldridge is a good offensive player but he he is average defender at best and your only defensive center is Marcus Camby who by the way is overdue for an injury he is known around the league as Mr Breakable because he is always getting injured. the point is Marcus Camby was on the Denver Nuggets he could not stop Amare and he won't here either Amare is going to destroy him and then your realize that Amare the beast has awaken and the Suns team has great chemistry something they lacked in the past. Another thing Grant Hill's first playoff performance he was injured the last time the suns made the playoffs so he will be fired up for sure because he hasn't been there in a long time . He may be old but he hasn't played like it so he will step up his game should interesting. I would prefer if the Suns win this in five but I am not going to be surprised if it less and I am not going to give an actual prediction because I like the series to speak for itself and since I never gave predictions before I am not starting now.

I agree that the Blazers are bound for an injury. It's like a god damn Bermuda Triangle up in the Pacific Northwest.

Shouldn't have said that, karmic gods don't appreciate that. Watch out for the injury bug Dallas.

Some of the Suns fans in here talking like Phoenix is the second coming of the 72 win Bulls and talking about awakening the beast in Amare like he is some mythical creature. Get a **** grip.

I would think they were wrong, but I certainly wouldn't say "We are the simply better team and will give you a good beating," as one fan put it...

In my post, I was comparing a small number of Suns fans who more or less said the Suns would kick Portland's ass even if they had Roy to some Blazer fans that think they have a chance and can possibly make the series competitive.

Both sides might be wrong, but the Suns fans I am referring to (not all Suns fans, don't get your panties in a bunch) arrogantly state their opinion as if it is fact, while the Blazer fans I referred to are not.
