Another thing Grant Hill's first playoff performance he was injured the last time the suns made the playoffs so he will be fired up for sure because he hasn't been there in a long time . He may be old but he hasn't played like it so he will step up his game should interesting. I would prefer if the Suns win this in five but I am not going to be surprised if it less and I am not going to give an actual prediction because I like the series to speak for itself and since I never gave predictions before I am not starting now.

I agree Amare will be a tough cover, but the rest of your post is pure stupidity. Camby put up 30 points 13 boards and a couple of blocks in the last meaningful game to Portland. He is playing like a beast for us. Meanwhile, your re-energized Grant Hill needed 3 or 4 games to put up similar numbers.

Suns fans should start worrying about their injuries and stop worrying about the Blazers'. If you think that Amare is going to get 30 ppg while getting double teamed because your C is Jarron freaking Collins then you've got another thing coming. Yes, the Roy injury is big but Roy's offensive game is sometimes canceled out by the fact that he often takes his own team out of the game and he's a complete waste on defense. The Blazers are one of the deeper teams in the league and Rudy is a starter on about half the clubs out there. This is the reason why the Blazers beat you guys without Roy and also why many fans think that Portland still has a shot. That and Aldridge + Camby in the middle > Amare by himself.

So who stops the wide open three when they double amare? Amare is good at passing out of a double team and with frye in you switch off and double amare suns go on a three for all streak. Ask houston how it went for them when they started doubling amare in the fourth quarter for 4 possessions and the suns hit 4 threes in a row until they finally stopped doubling amare. If you think doubling amare will stop the suns good luck winning this series. The only thing that will stop amare is fouls your doubles will not save you.

I am not sure you have ever seen the Suns play or Amare for that matter.

This Suns-Blazers thread is getting entertaining just like the Magic-Bobcats thread.

Good argument. And you're right; I never watch basketball, I just post on message boards to piss you off.

PS. Frye is garbage. Did you watch him in the playoffs last year?

My panties aren't in a bunch. Suns got the best playoff positioning I could have hoped for.

Ah, the beauty of the days leading up to the 1st game of a playoff series. All fans search for and find a reason why they're team can and will win, regardless of injuries, talent disparities, whatever. And that's exactly how it should be.

As a Suns fan, I too am very confident not only because my team is playing very well, but the unfortunate injuries for the Blazers make them appear less concerning.

But I certainly dont understand why anyone would object to Blazers fans expressing confidence.

He's a 6'11 shooting guard without ballhandling skills. Pretty sure he sucks.

We don't ask him to post up and play down low, so no, he doesn't suck. We're the only team who knows how to utilize him to his advantage, I guess.

The only thing worse than losing to Portland would be that female commentator from the Jazz-Nuggets game doing any of our games.

Suns in 7. Blazers are a tough team they won't die, I'd pick them if Roy was healthy.
