Keys to victory:
Dont allow Salmons and Stackhouse to explode.
Force Jennings to shoot jumpers.
Exploit mismatch down low.
Ball movement.
Avoid switching into mismatches.
Speed up tempo and get crowd involved early.

Hawks are favored by 8.5.

LETS BRING THE NOISE FELLAS!

Good luck today guys. i think it should be a pretty exciting series.

your team is also pretty awesome to watch, so damn athletic. it should be fun to see who comes out on top. (which i admit will probably be you guys)... oh well, if Bucks don't advance im rooting for you guys to take the East.

Best of luck

EDIT: you guys are going to absolutely murder us

Wow. Nice to see them come out with so much energy. Hopefully the bench won't screw it up.

The Hawks are possessed.

I dont know whats nicer, Hawks being up by 17, or Jon Barry having nothing negative to say. I love this.

We are focused on making them pay for playing 2 PGs at once. Could not have had a better first quarter.

I thought Woody said we were going to an 8 man rotation in the playoffs? The Joe Smith/Zaza frontcourt is as bad as it gets defensively.

Nice to see Crawford kill the zone early in the series.

Did Jamal Crawford get new tats???

GET JOE SMITH OFF THE COURT!

Love Teague on Jennings but why do you need to switch that? I can live with him taking the tough step back jumper though.

Without Bogut the smart thing to do is attack them inside and..... the Hawks are actually doing it. Strange

Jennings with a big half but all the shots he has made have been tough shots. I can't fault the defense.

^Seriously. I thought the defense, except for one time by Bibby, was quite good. If hes gonna be shooting step back jumpers, I will be content.

Great half. Ball movement was superb. This is one of the Hawks best first halves.

Yep. I'm not convinced the young pup can continue to hit all those jumpers throughout the series. We'll see...he's definitely got the fire.

Earlier today the ajc had an article that mentioned over 17 thousand tickets have been sold. That is very close to being a sellout and I can only assume a great deal of the final tickets sold as the tip neared. We'll see what the exact numbers are later on.

Love the crowd, but still too many empty seats for a playoff game for a good team.

Woody always waits about 2 minutes too long to call a timeout.

Return to Atlanta Hawks
