I'll be surprised if Omar Minaya is still working for the Mets next season.

Matt Holliday comes back down to Earth and Pujols starts playing like God when he does. Anyone surprised?

Pujols tied Ernie Banks' NL record of 5 grand slams in a season.

I fully expect this Padres team to go berserk and score 8 runs a game against us after laying down for the Cardinals.

Casey McGehee: Another scrub we let go who becomes solid on another team. Of course, it's a division rival.

Welcome to Seattle Milton Bradley. Just dropped an easy fly ball against the wall which gave the A's the win.

Good first impressions. Odds are that relationship will not end well.

I just looked at the Oakland boxscore. They have Jake Fox catching today.

Walkoff home run for him tonight. I love how he's useless with us and now he's better than anyone in our OF.

He was hitting .348 with 2 home runs and 4 RBI's coming into this game after a season where he hit .301 with 16 homers and 66 RBI's. He's not a fluke. I'd take him over all our OF's except maybe Byrd and Fukudome.

About 15 or so Cubs players are at the Hawks game now. CSN showed them during the anthem.

Crazy day in baseball so far. Ubaldo no-hit the Atlanta Braves and the Mets and Cards are scoreless in the 17th inning.

Please go to 25 innings. I'd love to see a fatigued Cardinals team with the entire bullpen with tired arms.

Return to Chicago Cubs
