OKC is still the team that makes the most sense to me. and who wouldn't love to join the hottest young team in the league right now? They're what, 16 mill under the projected cap, so you get your TPE and a couple of - Maynor, Ibaka, Sefolasha, Green, 2 2010 1st rounders, Collison, and future first rounders.

Bosh is arguably the best PF in the game. there's no reason they shouldn't look to cash in this offseason. it's a no brainer.

I think the best you a good idea would be to use Bosh to rid ourselves of Hedo or Jose. It would only work with certain teams though.

Not sure exactly how much salary you have to take back on a S&T but my suggestion if possible is:
TOR TRADES
Bosh
Hedo

to

CHI FOR

Deng
Gibson
1st round pick (with little to no protection)

props to Turbozone for the sig

a bosh for battier trade would be foolish...

battier's offense is completely limited to treys, he's no longer as quick, and his man to man defense, even though nicknamed the kobe stopper, will not salvage this team's defense.

the defensive problems of this team have two roots:
a) jose
b) defensively Andrea cannot be a centre

if bosh is leaving us, you can expect BC to try to get rid of jose in the same offseason.

what about jose for dalembert straightup

It'll never happen, but get me Deng & Noah. We'd have the 3/5 positions figured out.

I'd settle for Deng, Asik, and their pick this year. Noah is their franchise (even moreso than Rose)

i know that you guys dont want him, but id part with beasley and cook or chalmers for bosh in a sign and trade simply to free up room under the cap so that we can resign haslem, you can prob have your future pick back too

beasley is a great talent but just doesnt fit our team...you can either keep him or move him for value later on...its great value compared to most of the offers likely to come from other teams

does Beas have any real potential as a defender? how about as a small forward?

the guy has good athleticism but can he move his feet on D?

the reason i ask is because we already have our stretch 4ward. but if Beasley can play the Carmelo role for the Raps he could really do some damage for us.

the Heat are definitely an option. Beas and a couple draft picks is a decent package.

does Bosh want to go to the Heat? I guess he might but I bet BC REALLY doesn't want to trade him there and let Riley win.

how about this deal:

Toronto Trades:
Chris Bosh

NO Trades:
Peja
Collison

Maybe a pick swap or they send us a pick..?

Can anyone with good cap knowledge tell me if this would work?

As a Raptor fan, I would do that trade. Not only does it give us a young asset in Beasley, it gives them a giant trade exception that they could use in a subsequent trade. Not a bad return for the position they will be in with Bosh being unrestricted.

i.e. what if the raps could turn around and flip Beasley for Ricky Rubio? And then use 1st pick + Jack + Banks + Evans + trade exception to land Igoudala and Brand (assuming sixers are still looking to dump salary).

PG - Rubio / Calderon
SG - Igoudala / Derozan
SF - Turkoglu / Weems
PF - Brand
C - Bargnani / AJohnson

It would mess up the Raps long term cap outlook but that team looks pretty solid on paper and has lots of quality young talent to build around.

I would hope we can get something done like this...

Calderon/Hedo/Bosh

for

Collison/Okafor/Peja/Peterson

On paper, it doesn't seem like it's a great deal or anything, but seriously, can we honestly get much back from a S&T with Bosh? This is probably a realistic package I would think because Hornets need to keep Paul happy or there is no point of keeping him with Collison capable of running the team. Raptors get rid of Calderon/Hedo with Bosh is a huge plus to rebuild for future with the addition Collison. Okafor may have a huge contract, but seriously, Okafor or Hedo? It's an easy choice for any Raptors fans. Peja is an expiring in 2011 and Peterson as well (mainly he is a fan favourite and trading him keeps Hornets away from tax possibility at 68 million.)

It will transform Hornets back to a faster pacing team with Bosh and West.

Paul/Calderon
Thorton/Posey
Wright/Hedo
Bosh/Draft Monroe?
West/Draft Monroe?

and Raptors will look like this...

Collison/Jack
DeRozan/Belinelli/Peterson
Weems/Peja/Peterson
Bargnani/Amir/Evans
Okafor/Amir/draft?

Ideal scenario, we get rid of Turkoglu or Calderon with Bosh.

Dream scenario, we get rid of Turkoglu AND Calderon with Bosh. I don't care if we get **** pieces, mediocre draft picks, mediocre young players, but to get rid of all that money we're tangled with would be HUGE.

And then we fire Bryan and Jay and start from the bottom up. :D

Its either Miami or Chicago that will likely present the best sign and trade destination. Chicago has Noah, Hirinch and a draft pick to offer, Miami has draft picks, Beasley and capspace to offer.

i don't see Bulls trading Noah for Bosh. Bosh would definitely want less money to play with Noah and Rose. It gives Bosh significantly less load to fight for rebound and defend the best player in the paint.

Noah is not getting traded for Bosh. If it came down to that, Chicago would be MUCH better off just signing Amare and keeping Noah, who does whatever it takes to win (which includes defence)

Bosh + Hedo for Deng + TE

I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

one I forget is the Nets. if they land Wall, they're going to be looking to move Harris. and if they drop to the 3rd spot, they should look to move the pick.

think Thorn is interested in Bosh? he'd make the perfect compliment to Lopez, and would work wonders with either Wall, Harris, or Turner.

Bosh and Jose for Harris, the 27th pick, and 2nd round pick (31st overall), and a rather large TPE?

we get our point guard defender, cut loads of salary, and are primed to tank.

i hope it's one these deals

LA Lakers for Bynum (a pipe dream)
Houston for Jordan Hill, NY picks, Jared Jefferies + whatever
San Antonio for Richard Jefferson expiring + George Hill
Portland for Batum, Fernandez, Bayless or whatever they please

I hope BC doesn't even talk to Chicago or Miami, and if Bosh wants S&T there's no real reason to unless no one else makes an offer for him. Beasley has problems and plays no defence. Kirk Hinrich? omg
