Mild? Wishing that JR died in a car accident is mild compared to someone making Mormon jokes? Stay classy guys.

Listen to this man (child? man-child?), he speaks wisdom. Remember when we were all debating which veteran the Jazz would try to sign to fill Brewer's spot? And then the Jazz called up a D-Leaguer? Well.. the Jazz's bench is now:

Ronnie Price
Kosta Koufos
Kyrylo Fesenko
Othyus Jeffers
Sundiata Gaines
Kyle Korver

There's really only one NBA player in that group.

Turns out depth really matters when people start getting hurt.

The wrong person died in his car wreck.

I hope Melo gets another DUI this series.

Wow classy comments here :noway:

Hey what's worse, going through a stop sign and killing your best friend or my comments?

What about driving drunk or my comments?

Thuggets bring it upon themselves. I never said that I wished anyone died, but his friend dying because is drives like a moron is terrible. I just have zero respect for the both of them.

Aside from that one DUI, Melo seems like a decent dude.

Good game, next game will be even better. Lets see it Jazz. No way Melo continues to shoot 75%, especially when he shoots 25 times.

It looked great until about 5 minutes left, then the Jazz let it get away from them. If they get the next game I think they will win the series, otherwise it is going to be really tough.

I think that you need to take those comments as purely jest. There is a big line between telling a Mormon joke and saying that someone should be dead - a really big line.

Who's going to stop him?

BTW, I really wanted to give a huge shout out to Memo. The guy toughed out a painful injury as all us fans asked, and it may have cost him a LOT. We don't know the extent of the injury, but it could be really really bad. Best wishes to Memo, I hope it isn't bad. This gives a new perspective to expecting players to play when they are not 100%. Memo is a lot tougher than any of us have given him credit.

That Denver run in the 4th quarter was a lot like trying to hold in a big fart during a meeting at the office: You knew it was going to come eventually, it was only a matter of how long you could hold it. The Jazz held it for as long as they could, but it was no surprise when Denver pulled away.

Tell you what; I don't think we'll win Game 2 either. We'll have better chances at Games 3 and 4. Who knows, maybe two wins there will give us enough momentum to actually have a shot at winning in Denver in Game 5!

I thought the jazz had a pretty good chance to win this game. We ran the offense well, shot a high percentage. Defensively we kept them off the foul line and held JR in check through 3 quarters. than the 4th quarter happened. This is a game you definitely regret letting get away. If we were going to steal a game in denver this would have been the one. Now I doubt we come close to winning in Denver again. They are a superior team and we are minus some key players. That loss to Phoenix still stings like no other.

When this abortion of a season is over I hope to see major changes, If they stand pat again I will for sure loose interest in the team.
I have followed this team from before the Stock/Malone era.
The same **** year after year.

I hope Greg has a set and demands some change.

Curious analogy... but I think you're exactly right.
Like it or not they're THAT much better and THAT much tougher than our guys are.
If you ask me we have better chances against the Lakers that against these dudes.

Anyway I repeat it... I will graciously eat my crap if Jazzmen prove me wrong... and I''d be a happy crapp eater!

With no AK AND no Memo? I hope you're right, but we are looking very vulnerable to Denver's offense.

I just can't stand the Nuggets. They have amazing talent but I just can't respect them. Deron gets smashed by the birdman and doesn't get the call which results in Melo dropping in a 3 at the end of the third and he gets this smile on his face like he is the baddest cat in the alley. The whole team has this arrogance and cockiness about them that I just can't stand.

I hope Fesenko lands someone on their ass when they drive into the lane. All we need to do is lay one of them out hard and just sit back and watch the fireworks and implosion begin. Hit them in their weak spot, leadership and emotional control.

I think you're right.... but who's gonna do it? Probably the Jazzman doing it will end up much more out of emotional control that the Nuggets victim! :( Yes... our guys are THAT soft hearted/minded.... but that's not news in Jazzland...

As much as this may have been an issue in the past, to go this route is just like handing the game over. Even if you think there is maturing left to do they have matured enough to handle the Jazz. Harpring was the best at doing this and he's no longer there.

All I can say is I saw the look on Boozer's face after he finally sat down after game 1 and he did not look pleased. I do not doubt Utah will test the Denver Nuggets but it just may not have enough firepower to go the distance.

:D No more injuries. I've always been a fan of two teams playing at full strength as possible otherwise you will never be able to tell who the better team is.

Yeah I love that post. It's basically 100% wrong.

And while I applaud and agree with the sentiment of "no more injuries" -- it rings a little hollow coming from a Nuggets fan after the Jazz are already down two of their best players.
