I agree. Raymond stunk in the first half and Nazr was beyond terrible both on offense and defense. Nazr also launched a couple of those Okafor like UFO's in the first half which brought back horrible memories.

Who played better than him though? I mean, I felt like I was being over critical of him in the first half... he was just terrible. The argument could be made for Tyson I guess?

Since you gave a hammer to TC, I'd assume your answer would be, "yes" :D

Felton played well enough in the 2nd half and nobody else really stepped it up. If the comeback were completed, I bet most people would've given him the Silver.

Felton played crappy in the 1st half but Nelson also played out of his freaking mind so it looked even worse.

I'm going to chalk it up to first ever playoff game jitters and hope that's the last we see of poor play out of him this post season.

Did you guys see how DJ REFUSED to take 2 wide open 3 point shots? I mean, WTF? We badly need 3point shooting, especially from the few guys on this team who are able to make these shots.

I like him and all, but come on kid, grow some balls and start launching those 3's.

How about Diaw failing to shoot over jayson williams?

at least he had a nice first half and kept us in the game. Otherwise it would have been a 30+ lead for the magic.

But seriously, DJ needs to step up.

Gold - Crash
Silver - Jax
Bronze - Chandler

Same reasons than fat, can't give one to Felton with his defense in the first half.

Felton seemed completely lost defensively in the 1st half but you have to give credit to Nelson
for hitting ridiculous shots as well (What about the turnaround fadeaway on Diaw ?). I don't think Jameer will have such a hot hand that many times again. Still, Felts carried us back along with Crash and Chandler later in the game so at least he had the balls to take and make tough shots when it mattered most

3-Wallace
2-Wallace
1-Wallace

Seriously nobody else really showed up for the whole game. Jackson did some nice things but overall 6-18 is not all that great. So far it looks like its going to be a battle between him and carter to see who can be the biggest chucker. I can't believe they survived his 4- 19 night. I thought it was slick of LB to bench Jackson in the fourth and then blame it on the injury. Unfortunately for us Carter fouled out to even the odds. Felton came back and made some things happen but he made his share of bad plays too.

Diaw and DJ went through periods where they didn't look like they wanted to shoot. We need those guys to be aggressive. TT needs more then 8 min in a game where we are getting torched by Lewis. As crazy as it sounds our best lineup may be Diaw, TT, Wallace, Felton, DJ. We would be able to rotate faster and run more off missed 3's.

The one shot he hit was off a great move, too. He's capable of knocking down threes and creating for himself, so it makes no sense for him to be as passive as he was.
Humble yourself.

Yeah that left handed hook shot is not in his game. Although I didn't mind that free throw line shot. He should be able to make that, it was basically a free throw shot with no one guarding him.

yeah, that 17 ft jumpers was serious YIKES moment. what was he thinking. i cant blame him too much for the hook really, since they dumped it down there for him and then 4 others just stood and watched.

im ok with our centers taking FT line jumpers in the flow if the offense when they are open and when there is less than 10 seconds on the shot clock, cause chances are, you wont get a better shot if you reset at that point. but the chandler shot was a few feet too deep, not in flow of offense and probably too early in the shot clock. theo nailed one a few mins later which was actually a good shot in the offense, imo.

Can not give my Hammers yet. I have only seen the third quarter from the terminal in Rota, Spain. The first thing I see is Cheryl Miller in the back reporting about Jax injury. AUTOMATIC PANIC! But from what I've seen, if we chase them off the three point line we will easily win two games. 9-18 from the three point line will have almost any team down. I can't wait to get back home to watch the whole game. Hopefully I will be back before game 2!!
