One thing Gordon really needs to work on is his confidence when having the ball. He seems way too rushed all the time. He needs to have some sense of patience, and know when the right time to be aggressive is.

It's because he can't dribble

At this point of the season, the way he's playing isn't a surprise nor disappointing. Earlier in the season, he was playing really well and that's where I'll judge his performance.
I wish we could go back to our initial plan and make EJ the playmaker. Before Baron signed with us, he was supposed to play PG. I'd actually like that and he would be dangerous if he had the ball in his hand more and improved on distributing the ball. Hopefully he or the next coach will take note of that That's my opinion, at least, cause I can see him playing like what Westbrook is doing there with the Thunder. Just not as fast but with more strength to beat smaller PGs.
I think this is also a good idea because EJ would then have to guard/be guarded by other PGs, rather than SGs who have been stronger or taller than him.

Lately he seems un-interested like someone else mentioned before, which is annoying cause ive seen the great games hes played. I hope to see him get back on track and yeah, maybe when Griffin returns the energy and hustle he brings will spark a few players including Gordon.

Re: Eric gordon: dissapointment?
One thing I've noticed about EJ after watching Westbrook play yesterday. EJ is good at penetration due to his strength and quickness, but he does not have the body control and awareness of Westbrook. Westbrook had some awesome drives to the hole yesterday, showing both the ability to change directions in the key and switch to the other hand to shoot. I don't think EJ can do those kinds of things, which is why he gets his fair share of charging calls. The Westbrook draft pick was a headscratcher for me (I am a UCLA alum), but it turns out that OKC was dead-on with that pick.
That type of athleticism sorta falls into the 'you have it or you don't' category. EJ is a great athlete as well, but in different ways. I think he has a good jump shot, if he were to really work on it though and turn it into a weapon, that would make other parts of his offense more efficient as well.
