You've got to be kidding. Not that HIbbet hasn't made significant strides but his upside is borderline allstar. You don't build franchises around guys like that.

It would be lunacy to move Granger in some kind of two for one where the best player coming back is lesser player than Granger. The last thing the Pacers need to do is further water down their talent. The only type trade I could see for Granger would have to involve a younger player with a fairly obvious upside appearing higher than Granger's. An example being Granger for the #1 pick in this year's draft. Still not sure I'd do it but at least in Wall several years down the road you see the potential of having a number 1 player more talented than Granger.

I'm not pounding the table to trade Danny, but I do think that Hibbert and not Danny has demonstrated vocal leadership and emotion. I'd like to think that Danny can be comfortable with this being Hibbert's team and not his from an emotional and leadership point of view and as I said before, if not, I can live with moving him.

I do not think Hibbert has shown significant emotion or leadership at all. Yeah, he shouts and smiles and gets excited, but so do Dahntay Jones, Tyler Hansbrough, Josh McRoberts and Danny Granger.

I think the Clippers would offer Kaman (18.5 ppg, 9.0 rpg) and the 8th pick in exchange for Granger.

And I could offer a pair of used sneakers and a Playstation 3 controller. Doesn't mean the Pacers would have the slightest bit of interest in the offer.

Anything on the Clippers squad that you would consider fair trade value for Granger? The Clippers also have some good pieces in Eric Gordan, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.

Me? No, not really. Larry Bird (who makes those decisions)? Absolutely not.

I'd think about an offer of Kaman, Gordon and this years 1st, but I doubt the Clips would do that.
