Wow, I thought we were bad at complaining about refs, but looking at the nuggies board this morning, we are lightweights at that. A whole lot of cheese and whine going on over there...

Very interesting write-up on the officiating last night from Abbott. I'm glad I'm not the only one that saw these plays and thought they were fouls. Denver should have had 40 fouls last night!

Nugget fans complaining about the refs. Refs called it even both ways but weird thing was Leon Wood made most of the calls. What were the other guys doing?? Reminded me of watching a high school ref game where one ref makes all the calls and the other one just collecting a check. I woder if we can get stats as to what percentage of the calls were by Leon Wood as compared to the other 2 Refs.
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

I saw that and loved it, especially considering the whining from the Nuggets players. I hope they weren't looking to TrueHoop for some sort of consolation...

I thought the officiating was quite even last night. Both teams had some 50/50 calls go against them -- but that's the nature of those calls.

They are just trying to keep game threads from getting out of hand. You should have seen the Houston series a couple years ago. They have really (Please Use More Appropriate Word) fans that would come in here relentlessly. You guys didn't do anything warranting any warnings imo though. That mod was a bit weak.

Yeah, Houston was ridiculous last year and the year before that. This doesn't even compare; most of the guys over at the Nuggets board are pretty level headed IMO

The Utah and Denver boards are smaller overall. Plus none of the mods get too butt hurt over non-trolling smack talk. If you are talking basketball, you don't need to pretend you aren't a fan of your own team.

I really didn't think I was trolling, but got a warning anyway. they were probably sore because there were as many posts from Jazz fans in their game thread as from Nuggets fans.

One thing that I have noticed when I have wondered over to the other boards is that there is a lot of activity (posting) in our board, more so than others. I, for one, like such activity. I know some may criticize that some of it is not really news worthy but hey at least there's always something going on. Whenever I need to find out any Jazz news I come here first because I know either one of you probably already know something about it and posted it. Also, we have some die hard Jazz fans (posters) and that its refreshing, not like those other bandwagon fans that only support their team when they are worth talking about. Not only do we have passionate fans but knowledgeable fans. So I give our board and fans props!

BRING THE NOISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed. CJ Miles had a HUGE game last night, probably his finest as a Jazzman. Also Harpring played a huge role, IMO. Glad he's around helping, that's a guy who obviously loves the Jazz.

Harpring seriously needs to unretire next season...

Return to Utah Jazz
