Traffic and a Braves game that also started at 7pm.

No offense intended to HMFFL, but when do the excuses end?

Ive never seen Josh play with so much energy. THis is unbelievable.
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

Does Marvin know how to throw a head or pump fake? Or is that dumb side flailing-try-to-draw-a-foul shot the only way he knows how to deal with a defender in the lane?

I judge the crowd by the final numbers and not by the start of the game. I expect the final attendance to be around 18k, so if it's 16k or less, I guess it's an excuses on my part.

Just like my morning drive downtown, it takes me 2 to 2 an a half hours, and the drive is only 30 minutes with no traffic.

Did anyone just see that? The Hawks ran a play late in the 4th. We ran Bibby off screens. I LOVE IT.

The start if the game was embarrassing. I'd say a third of the lower bowel seats were empty. Those seats are pretty full now but you can definitely see some empty ones scattered around in other areas.

Good job guys... it's too bad that we don't have a healthy Bogut, because then these two games could have been much more competitive.

Best of luck the best of the way.

I'm not from Atlanta, but almost every time I've been to a game, I took the Marta in directly to Philips. Didn't take long at all and was extremely convenient.

Convenient for you, but not for others like myself, and it's not offered in my county. Someone else who has the same 25-30 minute no traffic drive has Marta in their county. If only I could use a Marta Breeze Card and not have to worry about the frustrations of driving.

For a change I got in 30 minutes before the game started (7 pm starts are normally rough, but it's the playoffs). I thought the crowd was pretty good by the end.

No we get to see how we play on the road. Now isn't the right word as we have 3 days off in between games for no good reason.

I would drive 4 hours to get to the game, both ways...

Atlanta is simply a terrible sports town (for pro teams, at least). No more excuses.

Back to the actual game . . . There was no answer for Josh and Al. Zaza had the worst game of his life tonight. Shake it off we'll need you the rest of the way. Joe started slowly but nailed plenty of shots in the second half. Bibby didn't shoot well tonight, but managed to get to the line to have a positive impact and we survived a bad shooting night by Jamal.

Solid game.
