I completely disagree with those calling aldrich a stiff. He's not the
most mobile guy but he moves well and has solid fundamentals on the offensive end and his defense is game changing. Personally I think with the current lack of quality centers in the league I think aldrich could be a very good player at his position.
I think guys like aldrich are primed to do well in the current NBA climate. The game has shifted to feature fast silky smoth bigmen but with that change has come lesser defense and less willingness to fight in the post. Aldrich is big and scrappy with fantastic defense I truly think he will be an impact player.

Cole Aldrich has the potential to be a Tim Duncan level defender, 'nuff said.

Re: Offseason moves???
What the last two guys said. Aldrich is VERY underrated and I would be VERY VERY happy with him.

Just watch some clips of the guy and you will see how "stiff" he really is.

Aldrich is a highly effective player and you have to realize that he's wasn't anywhere near one of the top options on offense for his team, but he should have been. he's a highly effective scorer with a couple basic but very nice post moves and his foot work is a little better than advertised. If you target him in the offense his production is going to dramatically increase but the way Kansas played they focused the offense primarily on their Guards.
At his peak in the NBA I see his stats like this.
13-14pts per game
10-11 rbs
2.5-3 blk
2-3ast
those are great numbers and numbers that specifically really help a team win games.

Re: Offseason moves???
Aldrich's potential impact goes way beyond stats as well. He really effects the game just from his presence alone. He's super solid on help D and just a down right stopper against inside bangers.
