You do realize that pretty much all the basketball boards are going down the shtter, right? I'm sure the admins and mods have realized this too, but there's nothing we can do about it. There's just too many ballboys and annoying fans. We talk about basketball in the OTB, and we don't have to face annoying arguments about nothing that you can see in pretty much every thread on the general board.

We do post on basketball related boards but the quality of conversation is much lower there.

Yeah, because the quality of the conversations on the OTB is so much better. Talking about fapping and chloroform, posting random pictures, insulting each other and posting random crap that are 1-5 words long in the RTT threads to post pad. The OTB has gone down the toilet in the past several months which is why I rarely visit that board anymore and have been using the Media Lounge for my off topic discussions. It's also probably the reason why that board hasn't attracted any new posters and it's always the same handful of posters that roam that board. Now it's just littered with RTTs and Survivor Challenges. Even when someone does post a serious topic, no one replies seriously.

did you also notice that many of the posters on there are actually forming freindships? i've forged friendships with many of hte posters on there, and have them on facebook. i wouldnt say that just because you dont fit in, doesnt mean that it demerits the board. you're just a bit of a tool imo

Ha, there you are wrong. I am a new poster there. And do you honestly think we care about the post count over there? I can't think of a single good reason to "post pad". I mean as awesome as having a different word under my name is, it just seems rather pointless.

Not everyone agrees with the content on the OTB board because people dont understand the culture. Each board has its personalites but there isn't a better board per se.

Some mods move trade related threads to the Trade Board, in the belief that they might have some value to someone there. I don't. And that's because I love the rush of adrenaline that comes with locking threads. It's like skydiving out of a supersonic jet while on meth, and none of you will ever know what it's like.
