If only this team couldn't get anymore hilarious

Carlos Zambrano to the bullpen effective Friday. Solid move if he is mentally into it. At least the Cubs are trying to do something!

I know this is a bball forum but as Chicago fans, WOW. This has to be the dumbest decision yet for the cubs organization. I'm still a fan but wow.

Yup seriously. I'm more excited about the Cubs young prospects in Cashner, Castro, Vitter, Jacksons, HJ Lee, so i'm not bothered by this because if the cubs suck this year that means they'll clean house which would be cool cause these vets are getting older and not better.

What a joke, he's making Ace money and now he's a middle reliever?

Him and Soriano are going to set this franchise back a few years with these albatross contracts

The guy is one of the biggest talkers in the league and is posting a 7.45 era. He deserves to get demoted. Im more than fine with it.

Big Z isn't so much of a talker as he is just really intense. Almost in KG kind of way, but without all of that fake thug fighting BS.

I remember when Bonds took exception to Big Z getting fired up about striking him out. That's just how Big Z is.

His intensity is not the reason why he has a crap ERA so far this season. He just needs to get on track. I don't think he deserves a demotion b/c he's really into his job. But demoting him and letting him get his head together in the bullpen should be a good move.

****, it's not like we couldn't use the help in the bull pen.

Might as well get a post in in case it gets ******.

Zambrano is in a funk, but shouldn't be demoted because of it. He needs to play his way through it.

Accountability is what this team is sorely lacking. Now if Lou would only pull Soriano when he does that waiting at the plate bull.
