The calendar says it is draft day.

Let's put the chatter in here.

I'm really excited for the draft this year, not just as a Packer fan but as a football fan in general. I always enjoy seeing what the other teams do and most of all, laughing at the Raiders.

Hoping for the best. That's subjective, obviously, but you get the picture. Personally, don't really want to trade up for a CB or OT. Depending on what we have to give up, Berry could really excite me, as could Spiller. There are other guys, too, but to a lesser extent (i.e. I wouldn't be good for trading up as far for Wilson as I would for Berry, but if we traded up a couple spots for various players vs. trading up into the top 10 area I could be down). Graham, Iupati, or Pouncey in our spot. I could get on board with others, too, depending on who's there. If we trade down I could get on board, too.

If that doesn't make it apparent enough, there are a ton of ways we could go this year.

I don't get into the draft nearly as much as you guys, I pretty much just look it up online after it's all done. But last night I had a very vivid dream that the Packers traded up to #2 with the Lions and selected Eric Berry. I know that A: Thompson would never trade up that high, B: I doubt the Lions would make a trade within their division unless we drastically overpaid, and C: Eric Berry most likely won't be selected in the top-4, so trading up to 2 to take him would be silly. I don't see it happening at all, it's just me having weird dreams. But I will be extremely freaked out and concerned if it does happen.

Why don't we keep the draft talk in the other thread until the first round actually starts tonight.

It'll be easier to navigate the threads until then and after when we come back to see how stupid our predictions were.

Yeah, I think we should keep it all in one thread until the draft actually starts as well.

I don't have a lot of interest when the Packers don't have a high pick, although not having a high pick is a good thing. But I'll still watch tonight of course.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

When this was on Saturday, it used to be one of my favorite sporting event days of the year. I mean I am still jacked for it and cant wait to watch every minute but not as excited as in years past. On the other hand, I have not the slightest clue what the Packers will do this year. Last year Raji was kind of a given if he was there. This year we could go, OT (please no), OLB, CB. And like 7 different players. And as the whole draft goes, I am more excited about this one than the last few

Holmgren willing to give up all/most picks this year and maybe some next year to move up and get Bradford? That just seems crazy to me, I just don't see him as that elite of a talent. The Browns also need more help than just a QB.

Rams stick with Bradford, Lions go with Suh and then it gets interesting.
