METS ser 2(w)-1(L)...WTF@HanRam's hair cut??

Post#1 » by mike_miller » Tue Apr 13, 2010 5:59 pm

I plan on just updating this thread as the season moves along...dont expect many other threads in here total so it should be too cluttered..

anyway..

terrible loss last night..most of the usual suspects produced..gabby sanchez is officially on a short leash and chris coglan may blow this team up before it even starts if he cant bat lead off..

that said, they still woulda won this game easily if scott rolen didnt take them back to 2004

fk me...

stayed up way too late for that crap...

no one to really blame..they scored enough runs considering the black hole that is the 1-2 spots in the order...its hard to complain when your last guy out of the bullpen gives up 2 runs..

please bring back the mets!

game 1 of 12 that arent being televised.. :-(

its hard to sweep a bad team...its very hard to sweep a good team..no one is sweeping the marlins this year (slight exaggeration)

cantu makes history, carrol comes back and blows **** up!..the fish needed this one

im officially worried about chris coghlan

2 games end in extra inning and 2 fairly one-sided beat downs..marlins are gooood

nice game for jj..hes a pretty decent pitcher :-)

kind of looked like cinci just gave up at some point...after the maybin hr it was pretty much over

well i guess roy halladay is pretty good..

gives 8 strong innings and the fish still almost stole this one.

to bad about cantu, he had a nice shot at the end of that game to make history but i guess it wasnt meant to be

anibal looked terrible, how he pitched 6 innings ill never understand

another nice night for the fish..

not alot of offense but its a good thing dan ugla's got those big forearms!

if nate robinson is a legit number 3, good night nl east.

chris coghlan, say hello to the bottom the order..good thing you are a sick outfielder.

Re: Stro's Series down 0 - 1....what bullpen?

Post#8 » by mike_miller » Wed Apr 21, 2010 4:32 pm

another crappy loss...

3 run pitch hit HR in the 8th! wtf!

at least coghlan showed some signs of life..if the leadoff spot is secure this team is competeing all year bc the pitching will come around management WILL fix this bullpen

the marlins have lost game one of every series this year so far...i expect fully expect to take this series from a mediocure astro's team

well that sucked..again...

this team is scoring way to many runs to be loosing games like this..dan ugla for mvp?

if i bet on sports i would take the fish tonight..no way theyre getting swept by a team as bad as the astros

that was inevitable, yet badly needed..

maybe im delusional and think the fish can stay with phily and steal the division..but id like to stay that way for a few more months..

wtf sanchez..its this how its going to be all year? this guy looks unreal some nights and aaa others..

leo nunez has yet to give it up an earned run this season!

eh...

another series lost...its going to be a long year if no one important on the phils gets hurt...

at the sametime, its really hard to care about teams outside division this early on..

who woulda thought the starting pitching would be this weak and the offense would be this strong so far?

Post#12 » by mike_miller » Thu Apr 29, 2010 6:34 pm

the rockies...

so after what is probably the fish's best game of the season, jj going the distance AND going 3/4...they follow up with 2 straight losses to a pretty decent san diego team..

loosing to garland is what it is..the guy is a stud..but if they cant pull out some of these 4th and 5th day starters games...its going to be long year..

at least we know this team will score runs..and close games...leo nunez =still perfect

well 2/3 is good, if you arent playing the natinals...(not sp)

the fact that the loss came against my favorite marlins pitcher doesnt makes it any better but hey...at least the bats are still flying...

its comforting to know that you have 4 legit starters who can go the distance at any point..

at least we all know the mets aint keeping this crap up...

that one hurt...

i mean you go up against arguably the best pitcher in the game, you count that as a loss right off the bat..

the way the fish fought and came back 2 times are amazing homers by the hanley and dan was more than you can ask for..

thanks aaron rowand for ruining my night.

its not fair to go against 2 aces back to back

if SF gets this kind of game from zito all year its going to be interesting for them

that said...

mike stanton please.

so the giants 3 aces pretty much gave the fish very very little opportunity.

everyone will point to the bullpen bc thats the easy choice..but the gaints just have amazing pitching..at least for now..

nice way to respond getting swept by loosing 2/3 against the embarrassment of the nl east...

no reason to get into specifics since none of the games was all that notable.

its as simple as the fish didnt hit enough against a bad pitching and gave up to many runs against a terrible line up...

thanks for fking over the fish "hammer"...you still have the best nick name in baseball

4-0 against the mets!!!

its been a while since any sweep, more or less a 4 gamer..but this could not have come at a better time..

the santana/ jj match up was a great game to watch.

the last game always blew up all over the fish's face but mr cogs game through and finally seems to be coming around..

Hanley's a knucklehead. I don't want him off my team yet or anything, but it seems like we have bad luck with good character guys when it comes to hitters (Miguel, Hanley). We do a lot better with pitchers (Dontrelle, JJ).
