Do we really need Wade, Bosh, or LeBron?

Post#1 » by Bullflip » Fri Apr 23, 2010 2:46 am

I really like what I see from Derrick Rose. If we get any of those three, he will be replaced as the #1 guy here in Chicago. I want D.Rose to be "the man" in Chicago, not some superstar free agent. I don't mind going after Joe Johnson, Lee, Amare, or Boozer, because D.Rose will still be the main guy. It was great to hear the crowd chant "MVP" when Rose was at the line! Has been a very long time since they brought out that chant.

Rose can't do it on his own. I don't think this game changes anything.

It's a no brainier that you do not pass a superstars never ever pass a superstars like them. If any GM do they deserve to get fired and never work for the NBA in the front office ever again.

I'll take leBron. yes, we need him........

I'd take the other 2 also - but if we get LeBron, I'll be happy

I'd also like to lock this thread - but I wont

I guess I agree you can't pass up on superstars. It's just I would prefer Rose to be the Michael Jordan role and whoever we get to be the Scottie Pippen role. I do think Bosh is the best fit for Rose though. Wade and LeBron are ball-dominant, so it will affect Rose's game. Not saying I wouldn't want either on the team though.

Yes because the way Rose is playing, if we land one of those three, its NBA finals

I think Rose might be considered the number 1 option even with Bosh. Lebron is a GOAT candidate so obviously yes. Wade is a bad fit and i would rather get a PF but I still would be happy with him.

Yes we do.

If we get lucky and sign wade and then rose and wade cannot co-exist, not a big deal. We trade one of them for another superstar.

GarPax phone rings. It's Chris Bosh at the other end

Chris Bosh - "Hey, GarPax... I really like what you guys are doing over there, and I was thinking that maybe I could come on down, and we can eh.. I dunno... go for some championships or something".

GarPax - "You know CB... we were kind of hoping to get this call from you. Well, at least up until we won one game in that playoff series against Cleveland. Not so much after that".

Do we really need to compete for championships?
Scottie Pippen's response to whom he would pick for his running mate, Michael or LeBron: "That's a dumbass question. I've never done anything with LeBron. I wouldn't take LeBron to the movies."

jeez man, the answer is a resounding "no". I love me some Rose, but he needs help.

No we don't NEED them, but we don't NEED to win a ring either.

If we're going to step up to be a contender Rose is going to need help. Everybody needs help. Most successful teams are made up of 2-3 stars now.

ATL- Joe Johnson, Josh Smith, Al Horford
Bos- KG, Jesus, Pierce
LA- Kobe, Gasol, Bynum/Odom
SA- Duncan, Parker, Ginobli
PHX- Nash, Amare, Richardson

Kobe tried to do it on his own, and learned his lesson quickly. If we want to be contenders we're going to need another star with Rose.

If you want Derrick to hear the "MVP" chants while he gets knocked out in the first round for the next 10 years, then yes, you don't want the Bulls to get anybody better than him. Know who I bet wants Bosh/Wade/Lebron on this team? Derrick.

The unicorn will get taken to the NBA Playoffs first round glue factory time and again if he doesn't get more help. He doesn't care about the egoistic high of being "the man" and he yearns for the day that he will caress the Larry O'Brien Trophy in a jubilant and raucous Bulls locker room, but he needs help. This post is asinine lunacy.
