This draft hasn't panned out like I thought.

Bit of an early reach in the Alualu pick but other than that its falling in line. Graham going early also surprised me a little but then again I thought he was the top OLB. I guess the Eagles felt the same way.

CJ Spiller to the Bills is gonna be a problem.

Spiller was an awful pick for Buffalo.

Can't believe Tebow, Clausen and Bryant are still on the board. They were supposed to be top 10 picks.

Been a very defensive minded draft.

Damn, Dez went to the Cowboys. Really thought he would be a Bronco.

Glad he's not in NE though. What do the Patsies have like 20 picks now?

I KNEW Rex would go CB but never imagined Wilson would be hanging out there. Great pick! We needed 3 stud CBs to compete against the high powered offenses and now we have them.

They go OLB or DL in round 2 I think.

I love the pick. Three great corners which puts pressure on Cromartie to excel asap. I'd love for the Jets to find a way to trade up and snag Kindle now. The draft would be a coup.

I really don't watch any college football, but from what I have read on him, we can rush 8/9 and have 3 lockdown CB's on man-to-man. Dirty.

Better for him to return our punts than Brad Smith or another starter like Leonhard.

Anyone else really hate the draft's format?

I hate it but it's great for GM's especially in a deep draft like this. Teams with high first rounders will make out like bandits, I'm thinking.

Hard to complain about this pick at all. Ryan loves his corners, that is well noted. Wilson is a nice physical who played on a island like Revis did. We now have three corners who can handle their own on their own, that's huge. In our nickel we need someone who can get after the QB, well Wilson can certainly chase down the QB.

Also like mentioned Wilson is a great return man, that's always a plus. This draft is very deep with many more players.

1- Sergio Kindle
2- Linval Joseph
3- Lamarr Houston
4- Everson Griffen
5- Nate Allen
6- Corey Wooten
7- Ricky Sapp
8- Taylor Mays
9- Carlos Dunlap
10- Terrence Cody

My top ten heading into tomorrow.

PS: This draft set up blows.
Jazz: Under reconstruction, we'll be back.

PF- Okongwu l Newell l Salaun

Wilson is a prototypical Rex Ryan type player. With Jason Taylor in tow it lessened the need for them to go pass rusher (DE or OLB) and I think of anyone else left on the board Wilson was viewed by some as the BPA. Great athleticism, great instincts, plays with great intensity and hits hard. Sure 3 CB's seem like a bit overkill but what the hey.

If the Jets can someone get Terrence Cody to fall to the bottom of the 2nd round, that would be cake. Cody is a monster of a player that can stuff the run and force the opposing team to throw the ball more which falls right into the trap says the spider to the fly.

And if they're ok with overkill at CB, a guy like Brandon Spikes (ILB) to pair with David Harris would also be killer.

Of course if Taylor Mays is still on the board (which would raise red flags about how teams think of him from a maturity standpoint) it'll be hard to pass on the guy. Mays is listed as a safety but many believe he can actually play multiple positions in the NFL due to his freakish physical skills and he could project out as an OLB.

Best man to man cover corner in the draft. I hope Nate Allen falls to us as he can also play man but the pass rush and blitz options just increased ten fold. Gholston might even be able to help. As Cromartie isn't a hitter, perhaps he gets moves to FS though I have not read this as an option anywhere. Awesome start. I don't like Price but I'd like to see a DT-DE and another big RB. Who is the third receiver while Holmes is out? Clowney?
