If the Packers lose their playoff game...

Post#1 » by BrewersGM » Mon Dec 31, 2007 9:25 pm

If the Packers lose their playoff game next Saturday do you consider the season a dissapointment? That was the question on 1250 AM this afternoon. Considering all that we accomplished this season knowing not a soul in the NFL media picked the Packers to be where they are!

I dont think it is a dissapointment to the season, but I think it may be a letdown or a step back. Considering how young our team is and the progress they made, a win next saturday is a big step!

Packers fans what do you think?

I'd be really disappointed with a loss in the Divisional playoffs but I wouldn't consider it a step back. Our team is young. Perhaps it makes them hungry to go further.

Thats what most people said... They better not lose cause Im going to the game! That would suck. There's nothing like driving back home to milwaukee after a packer loss.. The drive seems like 10 hours!

I think it can be both, not just "total disappointment" or "no disappointment." It'll be disappointing to lose our first round playoff game after such an encouraging regular season but that regular season will always be a great chapter in the Packers history. Regardless of the post season.

To put it plainly, it'll suck if we lose, but I'd still consider the season a success because they surpassed all expectations and have really grown as a team.

All good things.

Let's wait and see how the game turns out before we "analyze" what a loss would "mean".
