Agree TD was passive but Gino was driving to the hoop so well and then TP came up big late. He didn't have much of an opportunity to be as aggressive as he was earlier in the game.

What is most impressive is that we have not been owned on the boards. Pop is actually playing Dice and we are actually playing amazingly enough big...

Mavs have no one they can count on outside of Dirk. That just hits me. They even had to went with a 3 guard lineup featuring Jason Kidd as a SF. We have 3 of the 4 best players on this series.

Like us, there has to be 4 guys producing to win. Game 1, Dirk had help in Butler, the center tandem of Haywood and Dampier, and Kidd providing help. Spurs won game 2 with big 3 and Jefferson. Won game 3 with big 3 and George Hill.

Dallas has better talent. Spurs has better team. Forget about Spurs in 7. Let's finish these Mavs. I really hope we win game 4 in a last second shot like the .3 Fisher shot. That'll break the heart of not just Mavs fans, but also Mavs players. They won't recover just like how we were in that .3 Lakers series.

Btw, that's also why I think Heat lose game 4. That Pierce buzzer beater can really hurt a team's morale. Miami will have a totally new team by next year.

.... Mavs are now 1-18, when one of those refs is named Dan Crawford. Duncan wasn`t big, Manu wasn`t big and look at tonys +/- Stat. Dan Crawford delivered.

I don't think Tim was as much passive as it was just someone else's turn.

Why does Manu score 11 points in the 4th? And Tony big in the 4th too? In the end, they all contribute about the same, it's just you take turns.

That means if Tim delivers early through 3 quarters, when Tony takes those late jumpers, he does it with fresh legs. If Tim tries it on more tired legs, it becomes tougher. He could do it, maybe do well, but the percentages drop as the legs get tired. Tim and Manu because of age and style, should not have to carry the team on tired legs. That's why we have three in the big three.

That's why we bring Tony or Manu off the bench and spread the production among the three. Pop usually keeps at least one of them fresh to close the show.
