Haven't we helped Miami out enough?

On draft night if we don't draft a solid player then yes.
Beasley would bring some scoring in the wing which is something Hedo can't do. Yeah, he's cocky and has attitude but isn't that something we need?

Re: Would you give up our pick/expiring for beasley?
First of all, Miami is looking for immediate cap relief, not 2011 expirings, therefore it would be almost impossible for us to attain beasley (unless ofcourse bosh is involved). Even if it was possible, with Andrea on this team he would be redundant and will not fit well with our current lineup, the only way I see Beasley working out for us is if we had a real centre who is always in the post area and is grabbing alot of rebounds/blocking shots, similar to what Andrea and Bosh need beside them.

Beasley has been exposed this season and in these playoffs. He had an intriguing rookie season but he took a significant step back in his sophomore season and that's never a good sign. I pray that Bosh for Beasley in a S&T isn't BC's best option, unless we're all on board with tanking for a re-build.

I wouldn't give up any picks or expirings for Beasley. He's too much of a headcase, and he's undersized for a PF. But I wouldn't be surprised if he's all that we're going to get via S&T if Bosh heads to Miami.

Re: Would you give up our pick/expiring for beasley?
I don't really see this being much of a good fit. Beasley certainly has a ton of potential, but they want to get rid of him for a reason. His attitude must suck beyond belief. A number 2 overall pick with a ton of raw talent and they want to ditch him. I've never even heard of that. Maybe after 4 or 5 years, but 2? Beasley certainly has more potential than anyone who'll be available at our 13th spot, but we don't really need another jump shooting forward. I'd rather we take a chance on one of the raw centers like Whiteside. His attitude has been called into question too, but at least he plays a position we need. And he does actually look tall enough to play his position. Beasley is listed at 6'10, but is clearly more like 6'8 and doesn't have very long arms to compensate. He didn't improve at all this year. Just played a couple more minutes. His numbers are essentially the same, though his field goal percentage took a slight dip and his free throws rose a little.
Still I'd rather have Beasley than that guy draft express thinks we're going to take who is like another Bargnani. That would suck.

I don't think he has the same work ethic as DRose. Thus, I would not want him.

I don't know why it's so hard for people to understand that the mock drafts do not line up teams with their likely pick until after the workouts begin and the lottery is completed in mid-May. Montejunas is one of two dozen players whom we could end up drafting and at this point, I'd be surprised if the scouting staff had narrowed their list down at all.

Perfect place to trade Calderon!!!
The Bobcats they have zero three point shooters, they miss a ton of open jump shots and have to drive on every play. I seriously don't think a Turkoglu for Wallace trade be out of the mind or Calderon for one fo their centers and Thomas or another piece. Do you think we be good partners?

rose he is not. but if you could get this guy and turn bosh into andrew bynum, the frontcourt wouldn't be that bad. he can rebound a hell of lot better than Hedo, and andrea's distance shooting would help him out as a undersized 4 playing the 3 spot. bynum could be the defensive presence we've always lacked. then, bring hedo off the bench.

If he can be had for JUST expiring contracts, I'd take him. I think Beasley and Reggie/Banks will be making similar salaries.

Didn't someone on the Raptors do that too? (Hint: Last name rhymes with 'Argnani.')

You need jump shot making ability from your point guard, he hasn't developed one in his whole career in Bobcat uniform so I doubt that change.

Re: Perfect place to trade Calderon!!!
If they need a 3 pt shooter, they should get a 3 pt shooter, not Calderon. Calderon isn't paid 9 million a year to make 3's. Plus, Augustin shoots the ball just as well from 3 from Calderon, if not likely better.

Turk for Wallace!?
They've done crazier trades, they don't have a good shooter or playmaker on that team so he would fit in perfectly. He would also be squeezing in with a bunch of defenders.
