I'm thinking this is a lot better than being out clubbing. He is sitting down off his feet. A couple of glasses of wine to help fall asleep. No big deal.

What would you like him to do? Stay in the hotel room and play connect 4 with Ray? This is no big deal and he'll be ready to go tonight.

He's done this stuff his whole HOF career, and not just a couple glasses of wine. And good for him I say, non-issue.

^ haha...I won't get into all that but since this is the Boston board, I will say that I've never seen another celebrity/athlete out in the clubs down here more than Antoine Walker. Surprise, surprise, right? But he was always buying bottles and getting wasted. Here's a shot of him leaving one such club with a sport coat draped over his head in an attempt at being incognito. Yeah, like people aren't gonna notice a 6'8" guy with a jacket on his head...

You are the freakin' man for taking and posting this picture! I'm totally not surprised that Fatoine dropped tons of money buying bottles since he owes a few Nevada casinos a few million bucks.

Please post more pics and share some stories!

bicatmit wrote:And yeah, I agree with the last few posters....it's really not a big deal. The guy has to do something to unwind the night before a game, he's not gonna be hungover, and he wasn't out real late. Living in Miami for a few years now, I've seen MUCH worse by pro ball players the night before big games. Let's watch him take care of business tonight against the Heat and all these freakout posts will be moot.

LOL...how about that? Mods, feel free to lock this thread. My work is done.

I have heard crazy stories about Walker from a guy who parties alot in Miami as well. Guy claimed that NO ONE EVER flashed more money around then Walker. Interesting enough though ex-celtic GP was described as a class act down there.

Goes to show you can't determine "intelligence" by listening to a guy talk.. You CAN gamble 'smart' with smaller bets fully aware they you might lose some money.. I pray Pierce is this kind of gambler. I don't want to hear about him going broke when he is done.

I've seen GP out a few times, myself, often with 'Toine. Here's a shot of him my buddy took the same night as that Antoine Walker picture I posted earlier:

I don't think we have to worry about Paul having a gambling problem if he was playing at the $5-10 table, even if it is no limit. There have to be tables that have a much higher minimum bet than that. Sounds like Paul was just out relaxing and not trying to make it known that The Truth had arrived in South Florida... he waited until Friday night for that.

I just heard from my buddy that he's back at the Hard Rock playing poker again today, with several other Celtics players. Here's a bad cell phone shot of him taken a couple of hours ago:
