I thought I made a post here yesterday, maybe I messed up or something. Since the Clippers aren't in the playoffs I'm not really rooting for a team. I just want to see some good basketball and there were some interesting games yesterday. What caught my attention was the Hawks/Bucks and Celtics/Heat. I had no idea that Brandon Jennings would play this well, I hope he can keep it up.

What intrigues me today is the Lakers/Thunder

Kinda rooting for the Mavs this year. I'm not really sure why. The Bucks in the East too. I still like Jennings, and he had one hell of a game yesterday.

I was to see good basketball as well. There's one team that I don't want to win, and the rest are kind of up in the air. Although I would like to see LeBron bring some hardware to Cleveland this year.

I haven't really been able to watch too much basketball this weekend, but hopefully I'll be able to during the week.

I fell asleep on the Blazers/Suns game and I was surprised to see that the Blazers won. That's pretty impressive to win in Phoenix without Brandon Roy.

The Suns really took care of business in game 2.

I still have only been able to see bits and pieces of the games. I didn't bother watching the Celtic/Heat game today. When I got home it was like a 13 point game, then it got even more out of hand for the Heat. I assumed Boston would win, but thought the Heat could scare them a little if Wade got hot. If they are going to get destroyed like this with Garnett out, I'd be surprised to see them win more than a game (and that may be too much).

So far the Magic/B'cats, Lakes/Thunder, Mavs/Spurs & Nugz/Jazz seem to be the most intriguing 1st Rd matchups.

my ultimate prediction:
Cavs vs Mavs NBA Finals

I really don't like how some teams have 3 days in-between playoffs games. That is just too long of a break, I guess it has to do with TV scheduling.

I missed a lot of this game, but got to see the final 8 minutes or so. Boom's Beard user James Harden had a very big game off of the bench. Durant had a not so great shooting night, but 29 points and 19 rebounds is pretty damn impressive. Wussell Restbwook wasn't so bad either. The Thunder were team that I was really interested in seeing in the playoffs. Things would be really interesting had they pulled out game 2. I'm hoping that they can win game 4 and make this a series.

Good to see that the Thunder won at least one game. I was thinking the series was going to be 4-1 or 4-2 for the Lakers. Even though it's unlikely, I hope the Thunder can do what the Rockets did last year, and take them to 7.

I watched the Cavs Bulls game yesterday. It was probably the only playoff game I watched from start to finish. That was a helluva game. Rose is really fun to watch. I love those little flick shots he does. It looks like a hybrid between a floater, and a Shawn Marion shot. And even though he's a bit of a clown, I'm starting to like Noah because of his intensity.

Of course.

I haven't watched a single game yet, but OKC just tied it up to 2 games a piece. o.O Rather surprising. Let's hope they can at least get a game on the road.

Man, I haven't been able to watch much of these games at all. Today I saw some of the Orlando/Charlotte game. Left before it was over, because I saw that Orlando pretty much had it in the bag. I caught the last 16 (game) minutes or so of the Thunder/Lakers game. I told a few people that the Thunder were the team that nobody wants to see in the first round. They have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Can they win this series? Certainly. Will they win the series, odds aren't in their favor, but they have had a strong showing. This is just experience and progress for them. I'm hoping that they keep playing hard and give the basketball world a little more excitement for however long they last.

That Thunder/Laker game was very entertaining last night. I thought that the Thunder would give the Lakers some problems. The Thunder had so much energy and home cookin is exactly what they needed. Will these wins in Oklahoma City give the Thunder confidence going back to Los Angeles, we will see.

I'm surprised that Denver and Dallas are down 3-1. Denver is a little bit more understandable given injuries and George Karl, but Dallas? If the team that they have gets knocked out of the playoffs in only 5 games...? What do you do? Re-tool? Fire the Coach? Blow it up? I understand that the Spurs are a tough team that knows how to win, but come on. Cuban is going to have to make some big decisions this summer.

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
