Durantula

First of all, I just want to say I've been a big fan of Durant ever since he came to the league. Ridiculous length and speed for that length.

But i was just wondering ... how did he get the nickname Durantula?

To me, with his ridiculous wingspan, a better name would be Durandactyl . Even his face reminds me of a pterodactyl.

Just a thought...

The first time I saw the name Durantula was in old the Sonics forum in a Durant nick name thread.

So who knows who actually coined it but like I said the first time I saw it was a Realgm Sonics poster.

Just a guess, but i thinks its because durant +ula sounds like tarantula....
