Benjamin and Mickie James Released!!

Benjamin will go to TNA id Imagine where he should fit well....James will prolly work on her "music" career

gotta say im surprised Benjamin was obviously talented, and @ the worse couldve had him hold either the U.S. or Intercontinental title.....Mickie James release was prolly something backstage

Surprised with the release of Shelton and Mickie. Mickie she was probably the most talented female wrestler they have/had (prob the only one better would be Gail Kim).

As for Shelton

, I couldn't be more happier. I've been saying for the longest time that he deserved to be one the top workers in the game, but for some reason they stopped whatever push he had and gave him the "Gold Standered" gimmick which sucked (you know what). He's going to TNA for sure and i can't wait for future matches with AJ, Hardy and RVD. WWE just made the biggest mistake.

The others released...Kung Fu Naki/Jimmy Wang Yang/Slam Master J (aka Jesse)/Katie Lea Burchill. I'm surprised my azn brothers lasted as long as they did to be honest :lol:

. I think Katie Lea Burchill is hot, hope she goes to TNA too.

I bet after his match with Shad, JTG will be next to be released.

I think both Benjamin and James could end up in TNA. Benjamin is obviously the most likely because of James' music career. I expect to see Benjamin on the July 26th Impact.

I've mentioned a few times that I thought there were a few WWE performers that WWE keeps around primarily because they believe those guys would be huge stars in TNA. Benjamin and Carlito were the two most obvious to me. They've killed any momentum Carlito has so I'm kinda surprised they haven't released him yet. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they release him after NXT.

I love Benjamin and he could be very good in TNA but as much as we complain about his lack of push in WWE, this isn't like MVP where his de-push seemed to be because of some stupid backstage incident. Benjamin is TERRIBLE on the mic. He's never gonna be HBK or Macho Man. But I'd atleast like him to be as good as AJ Styles or Rey Mysterio, guys who aren't great on the mic but are atleast decent. When Benjamin gets on the mic I wince, he really is that bad.

I personally think hes as decent as AJ is. Obviously he's not Jericho or The Rock, but who is no a days. Personally I think for Shelton it should of been in insult that Swagger (as talented is he is himself), got a push over Shelton who is a better in the ring and on the mic.

Pretty sure I've said this before, but Benoit I would compare with Shelton. He was great in the ring, but the his mic skills were lacking. I think if Benoit could do it Shelton can and he can always improve on his mic skills too.

I disagree, I honestly think Shelton is one of the worst talkers in either company, worse than AJ, worse than Swagger. The guy slurs his words so much, I remember the night after his match with Christian and him referring to that match as one of his "Most proudest moments."

I'd put Benoit in the same class as Styles and Rey. Guys who aren't good on the mic but aren't total liabilities.

I've seen a lot of Sabu matches, and his aerial moves were excellent. However, I haven't seen him mat-wrestle much at all. I tend to feel somewhat the same way about Benjamin. His athletism is great to watch but when it comes to simply great wrestling, I haven't seen anything from Benjamin that makes me think he's even close to a Benoit. I can't say I'll miss him too much. He'll never be a "star".

Shelton has a great amateur wrestling background. Not as good as Angle (no one is), but he's up there with Brock(without the size) and hes a two time all american.

Obviously some people here have watched more wrestling than I have but I'm just going by matches I've seen of his. I'd be curious for links to matches of his that prove me wrong.

Me too. A buddy and I refer to her as "Thickie James", and not in a derogatory way. Her body is just right to me.

I have a hard time believing that Mickie and Shelton won't get a job with TNA. Especially for Mickie its a better situation where she doesnt travel much with TNA and can focus on her music while wrestling still.

Both will garner interest from TNA. Shelton will in all likelihood end up their and if Mickie wants she will as well but I could see her wanting to do the music thing full-time

She's going to be in for a shock if she just does music... and I haven't heard her sing a note. If she was noteworthy from a music standpoint, people would talk about her outside of wrestling. She needs to stay in the pro wrestling spectrum so she has some type of relevance to some demographic.
