Keys to victory:
Dont allow Salmons and Stackhouse to explode.
Force Jennings to shoot jumpers.
Exploit mismatch down low.
Ball movement.
Avoid switching into mismatches.
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

Car collides with Hawks' team bus
By Don Walker of the Journal Sentinel

Posted: April 26, 2010 12:44 p.m. |(3) Comments

A white Cadillac with a mother and her child in it collided with the Atlanta Hawks team bus outside the Bradley Center near 6th and Highland just before 12:30 p.m.

Hawks team spokesman Arthur Triche said players, coaches and personnel were on the bus when the accident occurred.

"It jolted us quite a bit. It shook us up," Triche said.

No one on the bus was hurt. The air-bags in the Cadillac were deployed, Triche said. The mother and her child did not appear to be hurt, he said.

Triche said the car hit the bus on the middle of the bus' left side.

All of the other Hawks personnel were taken by cab back to their hotel. The team bus was leaving the Bradley Center after a shoot-around.

The Hawks meet the Milwaukee Bucks tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Bradley Center. The Hawks lead the best-of-seven series, 2 games to 1.

Thank god everyone is okay

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

Trying NOT to laugh at that because it was a mother and a child, but I'm losing the battle...

It's hard for me to hate on a team that shares a logo with Jagermeister. Good luck to everyone tonight. Hopefully both teams will show up at the same time for a change.

Now let me address the Hawks in particular. You know you can win up there if you play hard and smart. Please don't give me another effort that reminds me of Josh's rookie season. I had club seats for that 13-69 season and those flashbacks are painful.

Plenty of top contenders are getting blowout, so we'll just have to see what this team learned from it, but the troubles on the road are another story.

35 minutes until the game starts and I have no idea what to expect.

Let's get the damn victory!

That last game stung. My poker buddies talked me into playing that night by telling me they would have the game on. They think i am strange for following the NBA at all, let alone following the Hawks.

Then the Hawks lay down and everyone was like  while i was

Zaza is playing like crap but Woody just won't put Horford back in with 2 fouls.

Seriously.

Our D is improved from last game but still needs a lot of tightening up...they're getting all sorts of lane penetration.

They are playing hard...its just that there's only so much you can do with a Zaza & Marvin front court on defense.

I feel fortunate to only be down by 4 at this point. We've played better and we'll see how we come out in the 2nd half.

Great. Now it doesn't really matter if we win the series because everyone's going to assume that Milwaukee would have won it with Bogut. That's not even mentioning that this team would get humiliated by Orlando.

Smoove should really be concentrating on his game and less on inane interviews about vacation spots he likes/dislikes. Unless, that is, he's looking forward to an early vacation.

The road juju continues.
