NBA PLAYOFFS: Game 5: Portland @ Phoenix (tied at 2-2)

Post#1 » by swe_suns » Mon Apr 26, 2010 10:03 pm

Who: Portland TrailBlazers @ Phoenix Suns

When: 7:30pm Monday TNT

Where: U.S Airways Center, Phx, Arizona

Doesn't get much bigger than the game tonight. A win tonight forces Portland to close out the series with two wins in a row. Yes we lost HC in game 1 but got it back instantly in game 2 and game 3. Come out with intensity, energy, crowd behind and blow them out. The positive thing is that either we have played our tempo which has led to 2 of 2 blowouts or we have played their style of basketball which has led to two pretty close losses both times. I believe.

Keys to winning tonight:

- Move the ball, this is crucial. We cannot have another game where Nash is dribbling us to death where everybody except for Nash and Amare are standing in the corners. Cut to the basket, rotate the ball.

- Fast break points, we need them. Run. Don't just talk about that you have to do it, actually run.

- Defensive rebounds, be aggressive. By rebounding we avoid giving up second chance points and it also leads to fast break points so a crucial factor.

- Limit the turnovers. Has to do with the first thing I mentioned.

Time to get some sleep before the game, I'll create the chatroom about 10 min until tip off.

Run, Run and Run. Push the Tempo. Keep attacking the basket. Rebound.

They better win this. It's my 21st birthday today and instead of going out I'm watching the bloody game.

That will probably be you last post here considering the circumstances.

If we bring the effort, they can't match us. I expect to see that tonight.

Well this is it, if they don't win this won they most likely lost the series. Wouldn't be as dissapointed if they lost while playing hard than playing like trash like the last game and than losing, if that's the case let Amare walk and trade Nash along with Barbosa...

The line opened at 6 and has moved to 7.5 at a lot of places. That's a good omen for the Suns. Vegas does not **** around.

The Vegas line has nothing to do with what "Vegas" thinks the margin will end up being. They set (and move) the line so as to get an equal amount of money bet on each side so their risk is zero and they can just collect the "juice" from the losing bettors.
