I could be talked to Tyrus for Beasley despite I don't like that punk, but Jack for Beasley is ridiculous. From ultimate best teammate to ..uhm not so good. Plus we have a history of not finding a fitting SG, i would really like to keep JAck and enjoying we have a real one for a while. I'm all for getting rid of Diaw (at least move him out of starting five) and start Tyrus.

I think he's kind of a bum. He's not the type of player I like particularly like so I wouldn't be too thrilled if we got him somehow.

He aint no bum.

Coming out of college,I thought he'd be all-world. Watching this game and listening to JVG/Jackson, I don't really think I'd want him on my team. He may not be a bum but he certainly seems like a loser.

How so? He's immature, selfish, not a strong rebounder and plays no defense. Whats not to love? And if Pat Riley who is an excellent judge of talent wants to dump Beasley's overrated ass so early in his career, then why in the world would we want him?

I think the problem at the moment is that he is a #1 option who is not being used as a #1 option and wont ever be while on a team that has D.Wade on it.

Make him "the man" like he was at K-State and I really think that good things would happen. Plus he's still only 20 years old. That's younger than a lot of the guys who will be selected in the draft this summer but he already has 2 years NBA experience.

i think the best any team can hope for with beasley is that he needs a change of scenery......i think the hype around him in miami has been pretty negative for around a year now....maybe moving to a new team would help....but i said the same thing about jr smith and he still pretty damn stupid

I definitely don't think he's a bum, he has the potential to be an excellent player, but as some of you said, I don't think it'll happen in Miami. I would love to have him here, and I think LB could do wonders for him as far as attitude, just like he did with Jack/Tyrus.

I'd happily switch him for Tyrus.

I disagree. Beasley is an underperformer that hurts you due to his lack of effort in general and is absolute lack of any defensive effort.

I agree that he has underperformed although he did have pretty big wraps on him going into his rookie season. That said he is putting up 15/7/1/1/1 on 45/80% shooting in only 30mpg as a 2nd and sometimes 3rd fiddle. Plus he is still so young.

Our problem is that we need someone to put the ball in the hole. Someone who wants to score and can. SCB fits that criteria. I think he would be a better fit here than he would be in Miami.

I think a grouping of Chandler, Beasley and Crash is better and more balanced than a grouping of Chandler, Thomas and Crash and much better than Chandler, Diaw and Crash.

SCB is a tweener bum with a midrange jumper. Avoid.

Beasley reminds me of Shawn Marion with attitude and motivation problems. He could be great, but he needs a good coach and a good environment to play in. He would fit well in Charlotte and Larry Brown would coach him up. It's worked with Rasheed Wallace, Stephen Jackson, Allen Iverson, and countless others, so I don't see why it wouldn't work with Beasley too.

Miami would likely want too much for him, but if they would take Thomas or Diaw and Ajinca, it would be a good trade.

Marion could rebound. SCB can't.
