I can say the same about Brook and many of the leagues PF/C Nets fans would consider inferior. But you already know that.

To those who've suggested we cut out MIN, I feel we can get a swingmen, if not two, in FA if we open up capspace as we do here. I'd rather cut salary to increase those chances, rather than add salary and lower them.

Kevin Love is one of the best young bigmen in the game. I don't like his fit next to Brook IN THE DRIBBLE-DRIVE MOTION SYSTEM, but it seems more apparent to me now that we won't be running that system next year. In a more traditional, half-court-based offense, Love and Lopez (sounds nice, doesn't it?) would fit great together, and are young enough to solidify our frontcourt for a decade.

With Amar'e getting ready to re-sign with PHX and Bosh looking everywhere BUT the Nets, I'm not that interested in doling out megabucks for any other PF this summer. I'd take Kevin Love at 21yo and $3.6mil per season than either the 27yo Lee or the 28yo Boozer at $12-$15mil. I might even take him over those two FAs regardless of age or contracts, JUST because he defends and fits next to Lopez much better.

^ Brook "Overrated" Lopez is included in the OPer's deal.

Lol, The Pacers aren't going to trade Danny Granger for Devin Harris. I don't even see why they were included in the deal. The Nets and Timberwolves could potentially do that deal without the Pacers involved. Also, assuming the Nets will get Wall is premature, so dealing Harris is also premature.
It's hard being a Knicks fan...

Why are a majority of Knicks fans so insecure?
