My only major complaint with Spo is that he gave JO much more time than he deserved. I would have liked to see Anthony get the bulk of the minutes, and Magloire a few extra as well.

Other than that, our team is too inconsistent aside from Wade. Jerry Sloan, Phil Jackson, Rick Adelman, etc could not have led this team to a series victory IMO.

Yay. He broke the Mendoza line.

At a million to a percent, his contract is larger than his playoff shooting percentage. That's not easy to do.

After all, he assembled the 2006 squad, got us a championship, broke that team off and put us in this situation where we are waiting for the summer of 2010 over having a shot at making some noise in the playoffs..... let's top blaming Wade, Spo, Beasley and Haslem...

Remember, you can't blame Riley for none of this, you'll lose the respect of some of the posters(Ha!)

Well, I was being a bit sarcastic... but Riles had to do what he had to do and I agree with a lot of his decisions. But at the end of the day, we need to stop blaming the coaching staff, Wade, Haslem and Bealey for anything. This is the situation Riley handed to Spo and his staff...these are the players Riley put next to Wade... we got as far as we could get...

So was I, being sarcastic

Can you seriously blame this on the coach? Seriously?

How many open shots did we miss? That's on the players. Spo didn't attempt any shots tonight, he didn't miss any rotations on D, he didn't miss box outs. Was he perfect? No, but this game is on the players.

He played the two guys who haven't been able to make a shot all series for 26 and 35 mins, they shot a combined 5-19, that's where coaching comes in.[/quote]

Please, tell me who else is going to play those minutes in the post? Jamaal Magloire? Activate Shavlik Randolph? If you're going to question Spo's post rotation, who the hell are you expecting him to play?

Hopefully in the offseason we fire Spo, hire a real coach and restructure the offense around Beasley. Hire a special coach to teach Beasley to rebound better. Get a center and point guard in free agency, because power forward position is set. If Wade is not on board, ship his ass out.

LOL at Spo's press conference. He finally makes a rotation adjustment and it's to keep Beasley on the bench instead of bringing him like he was planning to.

Not complaining cause Beaz sucked tonight, just found it a fitting end to the year lol

I agree, a lot of blame falls on our players, but I mean, sometimes this guy does have a hard time thinking outside the box. Catching the opponent by suprise.

Yeah we lost to the much better team, but a great coach might have pull a 7 game series.
Yeah our talent level is pretty weak, but I just don't see enough adjustments, next year lets say we do land a top notch team, you still need a witty coach vs the top teams.

Lol i hope this is satire

Spo isn't a piece of crap, he does suck at in game adjustments, but he's a good assistant coach. Demotion is fair. As far as Beasley we need to keep him one more year because his value sucks now, let's hire a special coach like you said and work with him, give him one more year.

I wish our center could be Camby but he already resigned which sucks! And PG we should look to trade Beasley in mid season hopefully after he shows he's got skills.

Let's get us a stronger PF, Beasley is too weak minded and there isn't a coach on earth that will change that. He needs a hypnotist if anything.

He just said there were times when he was about to stick him back in during the 3rd, and we would go on a run so he didn't plug him back in.

I don't think Beas makes any difference in the 2nd half.

Good hard played series. Heat played hard and didn't lay down. Hope Wade stay in Miami and you guys add a few more pieces. I have a feeling the Heat are going to be beasts next year.

Good Luck next season. :D

If Spo had any brain, he would've re-activated Rafer Alston. If we had a veteran PG out there running the offense, we wouldn't have had so many turnovers. Less turnovers = Heat win the series.

Fire Spo NOW!

Nobody is saying that we need to build the offense around Beasley. But Beasley was drafted to be the #2 option to Wade. What was the point of drafting Beasley if they were going to run a (Please Use More Appropriate Word) offense and not give him any looks?

You make asking the coach not to play a guy shooting 30 odd % 35 minutes, and the guy shooting 20% 27 mins unreasonable.

I agree - no way we structure the offense around him, but get him involved. Put him in positions to be successful - that's what coaching is isn't it?
