Like the deal, but I doubt they go for this. Precisely because of their money troubles, they need to hold onto Teague (and his cheap rookie deal) to take the reigns once Bibby deteriorates. They'll probably look to just sell the pick itself.

Do the Raptors trade Evans and Belinelli for Vujacic and the Lakers 2011 first rounder?

What is your honest opinion of Belinelli? Any potential to be a key reserve?

He's a bit of a wild card. Can really get it going sometimes but he's not consistent at all. Could be a confidence thing, or development. He definitely does have potential imo, remains to be seen if he'll ever break through in the NBA though.

I don't think i'd do this trade we probably could do better with Evans' expiring.. someone like Banks and Evans for Maggette? I'd' much rather waste are expirings on a impact player rather than Vujacic & a late 1st round pick that probably wont end up being as good as Belinelli..

Vujacic is also expiring.

My opinion on him is admittedly probably a bit lower than your average Raptors fan. He certainly has some skills but he's unreliable and, from what I've heard, he's not a very hard worker and has a real penchant for the nightlife.

Honestly, I doubt he'd give you much more than Vujacic. But again, I'm pretty low on him.

man, listen to me for a second.

your ideas are so bad for the other teams involved, i dont know if your joking or not but how about you start making trades where the other team may do it. You seem like you have a creative mind and can come up with ideas but how about you start looking at trades from the other teams perspective.

Would you do any of those trades if you were a fan of the other team? Say the raptors offered you that and you were a fan of the other team what would you say?

It would be easily a no and likely be laughed at. They arent fair for the other team but thats my advice to you. When i come up with trades i try and think of it as if i were a fan of the team receiving the players i want to trade, would i do it. if i wouldnt then i dont post it, if i think i might or id think about it i post it.

No. Please... I saw that you posted this on the NBA Trade Thread... stop making Raptors fans look like complete morons. People say that were constantly coming up with terrible ideas and this solidifies it. If your going to post something make sure its something realistic because this is a useless trade idea and a useless idea to talk about. Real fans want to talk about things that COULD potentially happen, not nonsense. On the real though, Detroit is likely looking to trade Rip Hamilton and they're looking for a PG... here's a deal (3 team) that I think would put us in Eastern Conference contention, that may actually be realistic...

Toronto Receives:
Rip Hamilton
Andre Iguodala

Philidelphia Receives:
Tayshaun Prince
Sonny Weems
13th overall pick (assuming we don't get into the top 3)

Detroit Receives:
Jose Calderon
Marcus Banks
Reggie Evans
Marco Bellinelli

2010 Toronto Lineup:
Jack/ Bledsoe (bought pick for a team looking to sell a 20+ pick)
Hamilton/ DeRozan
Iguodala/ Mike Miller (MLE free agent signing)
Bosh (resigns with these additions)/ Johnson
Bargnani/ Nesterovic / Powell (sign)

Thoughts on this trade/ potential squad??

If the Nets get the #1 Pick Overall then:

To the New Jersey Nets:
2010 First Round Draft Pick (13th Pick)
G/F Demar DeRozan
G Marco Belinelli
G Marcus Banks

To the Toronto Raptors:
G Devin Harris

Roster
PG - D.Harris, J.Jack, J.Calderon
SG - S.Weems
SF - H.Turkoglu
PF - R.Evans, J.Dorsey
C - A.Bargnani

(Obviously more moves to be made: re-signing, trades, etc.)
